Will Floyd be remembered more for the fights he refused than the ones he fought ?

NO doubt. Been saying this for years. The Pac duck is just getting the majority to see what most boxing experts knew all along. Floyd's career since 2002 is a big hoax. He's ducked the best and most dangerous fights in exchange for shot, old and small fighters. Can you blame a homo like Floyd for doing that? Floyd was born Gay and we can't do anything about it. :booty:

He has the unfortunate luck of being around in the same era as an even rarer phenom in Pacquaio, so his career will always be compared to Manny's and at this rate it will always pale by that comparison. Floyd took on almost every top challenge, and didn't really duck anyone at 130 or 135. He could have pushed to fight Hatton or Cotto at 140, but it is understandable that he moved up to pursue DLH. After that it gets a bit shady. Avoiding Margarito, not even trying to make a Cotto fight, "retiring" for a year and a half while Mosley/Cotto/Margarito all put heavy mileage on each other. Floyd, and everyone else for that matter, never would have guessed that Manny would come along and clean house as he has. If he beats Margarito, what great Welters of this era are left for Manny? Shane? Williams? Floyd cleaned up his image to a degree against Mosley but he desperately needs to fight Manny, JMO. Cotto and hatton did not want to fight him at 140... and when he moved up it was only to fight oscar.. I think the reason he didnt fight margs or cotto was that they were with Top Rank but thats my opinion

Good for us is there is a Floyd vs Manny, bad for Floyd if he moves away from that war...

I think he'll be remembered a bit like Mike Tyson. Not so much for the HOF career that he had, but the top 10 ATG career he could've.

You people are the same people that put up major points that floyd wont fight mosley.......The fight will happen in march..Arum is just trying to get as much money out of pac as possible I hope that Floyd will fight Pacquiao in march, but right now it's 50/50, Arum wants Pacquiao vs Floyd now, you would think the same, why would Arum wait and take the chance that Manny gets injured ? Arum knows he must strike the iron while it's hot, Pacquiao vs Floyd was set for Novembre but Floyd had other plans...
