Floyd will pay over 2 million dollars more in taxes if he fights Pac next year.

With the Bush tax cuts set to expire in January, taxes will increase for everyone for next year: SINGLE Taxable income from 0 to 8,500 will be taxed at 15% (up from 10%) from 8,500 to 34,550 stay at 15% from 34,550 to 83,700 will be taxed at 28% (up from 25%) from 83,700 to 174,650 will be taxed at 31% (up from 28%) from 174,650 to 379,650 will be taxed at 36% (up from 33%) from 379,650 and up will be taxed at 39.6% (up from 36%) Since he is set to make from 50 to 60 million fighting Pac, he will pay over 2 million dollars more in taxes (closer to 2.5 million more.) That's an expensive vacation.

For people saying it doesn't matter. To your personal life? Of course not. To people saying that he will be taxed less by fighting next year? Yes, it does matter. Because they're wrong. Exactly, and even if by some miracle taxes don't go up, Floyd has other incomes that put him into the max bracket. So even then, under no circumstance would he be taxed less for fighting next year.

Because 4.6% of 60 million is 2.76 million (closer to 2.7 because of the lower rates of the first 300 or so thou) in extra money you have to pay the IRS. Does it make a difference considering what he's making? Just saying.

We are talking about 4 or 4.something % paid to IRS??? I dont see the point why consider this a loss in any way. Because 4.6% of 60 million is 2.76 million (closer to 2.7 because of the lower rates of the first 300 or so thou) in extra money you have to pay the IRS.

But if you could make up to 3 million more fighting someone this December, rather than postponing it to next year, wouldn't you?

Well it will be a big issue in the fall... keeping the tax payers with more money in their pocket through hard times... or start making more money for the deficit. Most likely, taxes will go up. Maybe thats it.. Floyd is trying to avoid paying taxes by not working.

They won't extend it, not with two straight years of trillion plus dollar deficits and Federal spending soaring ever higher. If Floyd takes a two year vacation, it will likely be even higher on the top end by then. Well it will be a big issue in the fall... keeping the tax payers with more money in their pocket through hard times... or start making more money for the deficit. Most likely, taxes will go up.
