true. he neither denied nor acknowledged that negotiaitons were going on. so as a fan of floyd, we should also take a similar stance. denying that there were any negotiations going on in the first place gets us no where. I don't know what being a fan of either fighter has to do with anything. Let's just stick to the facts. Which is, there is no fight and the reasons from both sides over TWO negotiations have been absolutely ABSURD.

no my friend. both sides don't have to get together at all. issuse can be resolved via the mediator. the paper work can be passed through the mediator. ross greenburg was acting as a mediator. the mediator doesn't take any sides. all he does is ferry the terms/contracts/etc... back and forth between the two sides. that fact that arum was only talking to ross doesn't mean that negotiations weren't taking place. please understand. We don't know WHAT Greenburg was doing.

ross greenburg was working as the middleman or mediator between the two sides. Was he? if he was, then both parties would still have to get together once most issue were resolved to start negotiating and getting the paper work done. That never happened, maybe becuase actual talks weren't happening! Also nevermind that Arum himself stated that all was agreed to by goldenboy and himself and only Floyd signature was needed. then states that he was actually only talking to ross greenburg who is not golbenboy or mayweather promotions i don't believe it, Arum is a snake!

But I suspect there is more to unfold here. Probably the same rhetoric, but more of it. We might even be surprised, but I am not betting on it. For the time being, it does look as though Floyd ducked Pacquiao. I still maintain it ain't for fear of fighting him, but for fear of losing his zero. The concepts go together, but they are mutually exclusive.

Since when do you hold a negotiation and not even talk or see the party with whom your negotiating??? also, in prior negoatiation floyd hasn't had any history or any problems making a fight hapeen until now. pacquiao on the other hand has had negotiating problems with Oscar, JMM, and Hatton, and now floyd. So if negotiations is the problem....isn't it logical to say that pacquiao is the cause or problem given both fighters past history!

I have been predicting for several weeks that you would not hear anything from Floyd or his camp until after the deadline. And as far as people saying that Paq and his camp have no right to hold Floyd to a deadline, they were holding themselves to a deadline as much as they were holding Floyd and his camp to a deadline. They cannot wait forever for someone else to make up their mind before moving on.
