First thing that caught my ear was that the fight fell apart over money(Shocker). It always comes down to money. Pac wanted 50/50 and that wasn't acceptable to Floyd. Drug testing didn't seem to be problem this time. Also, he called Pacquiao a bitch and a fagget numerous times. Another thing that caught my ear is that according to Floyd Sr. everybody is on steroids, except his son. Finally, Floyd Sr. actually suggested that Floyd Jr. could fight Clottey next. In fairness, it was one of like 3 names that Floyd Sr. mentioned, but a Clottey fight would be horrible. One thing about the money situation. Pacquiao isn't Shane Mosely. He doesn't need Floyd Jr. to make big money. He'll fight Margarito in the Middle East and make $25 million with no taxes. Like it or not Floyd Sr, Pacquiao is just as big a star as your son. They need each other to make the biggest fight in boxing history. They both deserve an equal share of the money.
The first negotiations was not actually 50-50 split. It was something like 53-47 split, 53 going to Mayweather. Arum then went to Pac and made the 3 percent difference, making it 50 split.
If that is so, then floyd shouldn't have any problem with the money split now, because from what i gathered, team manny just continued from where they left off. They already agreed upon the money split the last time, so manny being a fighter that he is, bend over backwards and agreed on the random blood test that floyd was insisting the last time just to make the fight to happen... There shouldn't be any problem right now!!!!
haha, whys this little girl so bitter
"why cant manny just do what floyd wants, I dont get it"
that vito guy can't even stay on topic. he should just retire his current alt and start a new one.
If the Illiterate Congressman would just accept his station in life and take the lesser cut, it would be smooth sailing.

LOL, Floyd agreed to 50-50 last time, then it's a drug thing, now it's a money thing again.
I guess if Pac and his next opponent do better numbers than May/Mosley did, Mayweather will say he is caling it a career again.

Not only that but he also blocks anyone who owned him in his own threads.
Vito is a :loser:
yes that vito guy put me on ignore when i pointed out how deceptive one of his thread title is and i guess that justified a red "k" for him
I have seen him posting in here before but I never noticed how idiotic his posts were. Nothing to do with boxing, just undying support for Floyd's antics...
you don't remember dios dominicano, al haymon or gg marquez?
it's the same idiot.
just different names after he was banned.
What is very CLEAR is that FLOYD DOESNT WANT TO FIGHT PACQUIAO. Even @ 50/50 He would be earning the biggest paycheck he would be earning in a SINGLE fight no other fighter can give him that and thats why it has to be even.
but no, hes playing hardball in the negotiation not for the money because money is already there, the biggest amount he'll get the TRUTH is HE DOESNT REALLY WANT TO FIGHT PACQUIAO.

1. This would be consistent with the thread i posted yesteray. Pac wanted 50%.
2. No. Pac is not as big a star. otherwise, he would have sold similar numbers. And got similar paydays. Floyd substantially outsells Pac consistently. And that is the Team may point: Why should I "give" away millions of dollars.
Arum doesn't want to make a fight with Bradley or Williams, calling it a free ride. So why should Floyd give Pac a ten million "pass".

What I dont understand is how Floyd has done more in PPV buys and grossed more money in less bouts yet Pacquiao still insists on a 50-50 split. Pac should just accept the fact that Floyd draws more PPVs and the 50-50 split would have a HUGE focus on just that, PPV buys. No wonder Floyd didnt agree to that. They should try offering him a 55-45 split and see what happens.
so floyd sr acknowledges that there were negotiations going on?
Who wouldn't think negotiations were going on?
A lot of people here need to stop believing everything they read and think a little harder.
