was ali damged goods after the loss to frazier no he came bak and won the god damb title. 1 loss dont make u damged goods other wise nearly every fighter is. Damaged goods is the most over used term there is and gets used as an excuse way to much these days so ppl need to cut it
I really hate this
how after manny beats some1 theres a problem with them. delahoya will smash manny 'oh no he was weight drained', hattons a beast at 140, 'oh no he was past it and overrated', cotto will kill him, 'oh no he was damaged goods', clottey will be big and dangerous 'oh no he s a class B fighter'
ppl saying hatton and cotto were damaged goods they had 1 loss for god sake and hattons loss wasnt even in his own weight class by this stupid logic pacman has been damaged goods and past it since 1999 wen he got ko'd give credit where is is due u bloody clowns
His last two fights, remember Cotto and Clottey the two fighters that Mayweather also ducked. :lol1:
I bursted out in laughter, thanks for that one. Especially the Clottey part, HAHAAHAHHAHA.
Clottey was the last...
He was a top Contender, and everyone said that prior to the bout.
Everyone was calling him a No-Body after Pac demolished Clottey and his gameplan. Thats just what Pac does... he would have done it to Floydette if the ****** took the November fight lol
Yet still better than most who are. These silly contortional polls are not big nor clever.
If you take them as "hate polls", well yes.
But no hate here.
The polls were regarding top opposition in their prime.
Mosley is nowhere near prime in 2010.

Barrera who people were trying to ban from the sport (with the metal plate in his head) which caused a lot of distractions along with that forest fire that wiped out his training camp. Bad style clash regardless though.
Floyd's last good win was Shane Mosley.
If it wasn't Mosley. Then Pac's last good win was Marquez in 2008.

I made this thread because Floyd fans basically dared me to, since I made a similar thread regarding Floyd first AND I think Floyd's last top/prime opponent was Castillo, back in 2002.

Clottey was in his prime and so was Cotto. Dumbass thread.
Cotto was damaged goods.
Clottey was his last good win though. But it's all good because Clottey was also his last fight before taking on another bum in Cotto or Margarito on November.

Prime top opposition.
I would have to say Joshua Clottey earlier this year.
Although Pacquiao was favored by the whole world to widely UD Clottey. That's just how good Pacquiao is.
I would have to say Joshua Clottey. He was and still a legit WW for any welterweight out there. I think Clottey would be a 50-50 fight for anyone outside of Mayweather and Pacquiao.
I also thought Hatton, since Ricky was supposed to be "FUKIN MASSIVE" @ 140, and Pac fought Hatton at 140.
But I voted Márquez. No if or buts about Márquez being top and prime when they fought.
Cotto is the best answer since he just became champ at 154 after beating Foreman. Mayweather would be on this list too had he decided to fight so this thread doesn't really work.
