gotcha. but this based on PPV history. when was the last time shane was on PPV and what were the numbers? there is no excuse for why pac only did 700k. all we know is that he went from 1.25 with cotto down to 700k, the very next fight. and coming off all the publicity of the failed negotiations with floyd(because pac walked away) cotto v pac did better coz once again ppl thought pac could lose that one with clottey there was no chance anyway where off point here im not arguing about whos a better draw out of pac or floyd if floyd fought clottey next probly be 700 k aswell im saying it is not unreasonable to think pac v marg does a mil

shane isnt a PPV fighter. HBO even passed on Mosley Mora which proves this. floyd did 1.4mil with a none draw. cotto is a draw but shane isnt even marg is a bigger draw than shane i wasnt bagging floyd i know he can pull big numbers thats what i was saying but clottey completely pulled no1 atleast with the floyd shane fight shane was coming off a good win and half the draw to that fight was that ppl thought for the first time in ages there was a chance shane could pull off the win where with the manny v clottey ppl knew manny had it in the bag thats y the numbers wernt as good

its not going going to break a million.. a lot of people lost respect for margs for the wrap the incident and will not will pay to watch him. the only reason pac-clottey did 700k was because of Cowboys stadium..in essence this is what im saying nobody wants see pac-margs. i know a good amount of people who usually order big fights that said they not going to pay for this.

It wasn't great but I wouldn't call it a failure, and the promotion was definitely not huge so I'm pretty confused by this statement. It would've been better had people not been dissapointed by boxing politics though.
