Gamboa is going to wreck Juanma

Gamboa looks great but Juan M. Lopez has been facing a steady diet of better competition so if this fight happens that will be the biggest factor in my pick.

Juanma's gonna knock Rafa out. Lopez is much faster than him, and at this stage more powerful.

Gamboa is going to smash JuanMa but I don't think that fight will ever happen. JuanMa is a certified cashcow and Arum won't let him near anyone who has a real good chance to beat him. Rafa is too inactive, old, and battle tested to be considered a threat prefight. Once in the ring though, I think sound boxing fundamentals will allow him to hurt JuanMa and possibly beat him. Gamboa beats JuanMa to the punch and once he gets him hurt, he is gonna smash him to bits and pieces.

and so is Rafa. This kid has a chin as hard as tissue paper. rafa will get decimated and you can lay the farm on it. bernabe has some good pop and landed a hard shot. gambo is the fight, but let them build it. both fighters have room for improvements imho.

This is the first time Juanma's ever been down in a fight, and it was a flash knockdown. He got right up, he simply got wild and careless and got caught while he was leaning left with a left hook. Gamboa has been dropped about 4 or 5 times in his career, please if you've only seen Gamboa vs Mtagwa don't even post. Gamboa is a great fighter as is Juanma but as for who would win... I think its a pick 'em fight. Juanma seems open to counters and Gamboa would capitalize on that, however, Gamboa has a tendency to get reckless and exchange where he's been planted MULTIPLE times. I'll take Lopez power and Gamboa's weak chin, Juanma by KO though he'd be down on the cards.

Ganboa's been dropped like 3-4 times already. I think this is Juanmas2nd time getting dropped.

juanma is the truth.........................rafa would get destroyed...........not because hes no good...............but rafa is done............... I agree with this poster. Rafael Márquez has fought too many wars. He already gave us his best fights. Also, it was a good punch to the TOP of the head. Those punches cause great damage. Back in the day when Margo was unstoppable, I remember that someone shooked him and got him backtracking with that kind of punch. Santos, it was Santos. And no one can question prime Margo's chin.

And it didn't look like a hard shot either, but I've heard that those shots do that. I'd pick Gamboa and Rafa to beat him though. Lopez will be the favorite, but I wouldn't even think about putting my money on him. Marquez will cement his status as a great fighter with the win.
