Khan vs. Marquez will it be PPV? please God no

this fight angers me, i dont think JMM can keep up with khan for 12 rounds, khan is one of the fittest and Marquez as we have seen doesnt look great at around the 140 mark physically. Khan needs to take on some of the top guys at 140 at least after this, Bradley, alexander, maidana or ortiz. I was suprised khan paulie was free in the UK, especially as a lot of his fights have recently against bums and c level fighters. Paulie was also fairly well known from his fight with hatton. At least on the plus JMM will get another well deserved pay day.

You think that's gonna stop GBP? Diaz, whose lost 3 of his last 4 (in my opinion, 4 of his last 4) got on PPV. And if GBP thinks they can sell Mosley-Mora, then they definitely think they can sell Khan-Marquez (and who knows, they probably can). And as I said in the earlier post, this fight would put Khan on the p4p list for sure because he'd not only have a win over a p4p fighter, but also most likely do it more impressively than Mayweather did. And just like that, GBP got a new attraction. Khan's hype will hit the roofs after a win over Marquez and they'll probably start building up Khan-Mayweather or something.Yea but Juan Diaz and Juan Manuel actaully have followings here, people know who they are, Juan Diaz has headlined on HBO 8 times excluding PPV undercards and ESPN fights he was seen on a national level. Their first fight last year won the FOTY award. I dont care how many people watched Khans last HBO show, he is still virtually unknown in the states.

yea that makes sense..i think marquez still beats khan though.... I hope so, man. An elite fighter like Marquez doesn't deserve to be a stepping stone. He should fight Soto if he gets past Barrera and then retire.

That would be stupid because no one knows Khan. Khan's fight with paulie had the highest boxing viewers on hbo so far this year.But i think it will be on reg hbo.I think miguel cotto is fighting again in dec on ppv.Dont make sense to have 2 ppv back to back in weeks.

If they think they can sell Marquez-Diaz II on PPV then of course this will be too. And if Khan KOs Marquez like I expect him to, he'll be on the p4p list and will be one of the top boxers in the world on paper. Even though I don't agree with the fight, I must admit, its a VERY VERY smart decision for Khan.
