I was never a Calzaghe fan, but I wish he was still fighting so he could murder Ward

Ward is in his prime. Add to the Hopkins-esque style and you have a win over Calslappy. Prime vs. Prime might be a different story but Calzaghe's best days are past him. Ward is too hungery to lose to a past prime fighter, period. The only people that have the best chance to beat him have to be at their physical and mental peak, like Dirrell.

Calzaghe rubs black supremacists the wrong way, always has and now that he's retired, always will. Because they know, he was THAT FUKCING GOOD. Old Calzaghe would toy with Ward, Young Super Joe knocks him out.

Ward would win against Joe. Joe never faced anyone who was nearly as good as Ward when they were primed. Prime Ward easily wins a very dominant UD against Joe. Easily

Ward would give Calzaghe a lot of trouble because Joe doesn't have the punching power to hurt him with.

Calzaghes probably laughing at the 'Best Super Middleweight' in Ward right now, no-ones even coming close to his skill level and effectiveness.

I do like both calzaghe and ward, but i would have to say wards style i think would be difficult for calzaghe to handle, calzaghe likes his room and likes to move, ward presses forward and ties up, i dont think calzaghe would be able to get off against ward and i think that ward is physically stronger, so it would be a dirty one, but ward would pull it out

is this the same prime calzaghe who got a gift decision over robin reid? or maybe prime calzaghe is the guy who got nearly ko'd vs kabary salem(bute knocked him out in his next fight)? when was calzaghe prime? when he was picking apart bums that no one heard of? You bring up every single name except for the guy who's actually fighting in the tournament. Calzaghe was able to beat a PRIME Kessler without cheating or head-butting. Ward does not have the ability to win on skills alone and needs a lenient ref to do his dirty work.

Abraham is short and can not deal with activity well as we saw in the Direll fight. He would get UD'd by Joe. Kessler and Froch fought life and death with each other, but Joe easily handled a prime Kessler with no sweat.
