Why didnt pac ever fight zahir raheem?

I don't know who those many were... I never saw them at that time. Everybody I talked to and knew had Pac winning the fight beforehand. The rematch was different though. I knew a few who thought Morales could win the rematch. But, didn't know any who though he could win the third fight. There are/were many Erik Morales DIE-HARDS.. But I agree. I knew it was a wrap as soon as it was announced.

Are you reading posts like TI's? Do you see him mad that Pac forced Morales to go down to 130 when he clearly wasn't healthy at that weight? I think it depends. Raheem wasn't struggling to make 130 and I'm sure he wouldn't complain. I'm not sure the public would either. I wouldn't complain either. I wouldn't mind if manny fought raheem at the lower weights.. Clottey being the only 1, but isn't a mobile defender and doesn't slip punches and off of them. Fact remains, styles make fights. You can't look at pacs resume and current spot in the p4p and make an assumption on how he would have done during that time against Raheem. He could have very well gotten lost in there when he saw a few of the things zahir was doing for the first time. Just speaking from experience - I helped prepare anthony thompson (sparring partner) for 2 of his bouts and he wasn't near as strong in there with me as he was with other guys who stood still longer, simply because I moved a bit more. Look at Pavlik. Gets lost once there is a little movement infront of him. Not to say this will kill pacman, but every fighter has a particular style that he doesn't look best against or that can drive him nuts. I don't recall pac coming across anyone who at least "tried" to make him miss, and pay for it. Or who would lead with unorthodox punches. Sasakul? Ledwaba? Marquez???
