Just wondering if anyone else noticed....he seemed just a little shot to me. It might've been the weight or his hesitation but he didn't look so good in front of Foreman. His footwork was much better, but his power punches didnt have snap half the time and his defense was still horrible. He got hit with punches he shouldn't have gotten hit with. Even though he had good footwork, he wasnt too effective in cutting off the ring. I dont know maybe he just needed a comeback fight before his newly acquired training shows but I was not pleased with his performance, and I am one of the biggest Cotto fans, im just being honest. The reason for my concern is that I don't believe that the Cotto on Saturday night could win yet alone even survive against Pacquiao a second time, maybe against most other fighters, but certainly not Pacquiao or Floyd.
His face bleeds like a periodic cunt against anyone with pop. And that's probably why he knows he has to run like a Grey hound to the finish when that happens. Wait until Kirkland or Angulo get their hands on him.
Stop the Cotto man crush.

I think Cotto looked good. He handled foreman style very well, he pressured foreman and even outboxed him at times. He controlled the fight with the exception of round 4. The real test will come when he faces another fighter who can take his punches, pressure, and throws like 100 punches a round. Which is pacquiao, margarito, and even paul williams. Best next move for Cotto is Berto then after that rematch margarito.
No such thing as a "bit" shot. Your either shot or not.
i just made a thread about sendou ironically.
about how that PED cheater ippo wouldnt have won without that xylocaine injection
He looked ALOT better then I thought he would actually. Lets not forget Foreman moves around alot and doesn't stand in one spot long. Cotto used his jab very good in that fight. He still doesn't have the same velocity in his punches or snap whatever you'd like to call it. Ever since he got hit with bricks by Margarito it ruined him as an elite fighter. But he gave me a little hope because I thought he looked pretty good. Lets see how he looks against someone who can punch. Foreman hit him with some clean right hands but Foreman is a weak puncher. Maybe if it was someone who actually had a punch Cotto might of been in big trouble.
Of course he's shot. He lost to Pacquiao. If you do that, you're definately shot.

Damn Im one of cottos biggest fans and I study all his fights, and while he might not exactly look "shot," he's definitely lookin less then what I thought he was capable of. He did not show much of anything new and IMO he should've gotten foreman outta there in 5 or less. Like i said Im one of his biggest fans but you guys define NUTHUGGER. If you think he looked great then you need some glasses. He didn't even look all that good to be honest. and also Im starting to think that if foreman didn't mess up his leg would Cotto have Ko'd him? What would you have said then? I did say maybe he just needed a warm up fight after the Pac loss, but he undeniably looked less vicious and less effective.
LOL damn, it's crazy what people determine as being "shot" these days.
Meldrik Taylor is a prime example of what being a shot fighter is. He fought way beyond the time he should've fought and his speech today is living proof. Cotto's still 29 years old with 2 losses and was his 1st time at 154lbs and his 1st time with a new Head Trainer.
I think Cotto will look a lot sharper come the Fall with whomever he fights.
