This is well documented. Zilla was an HBO fighter and Showtime had exclusive rights to Kong at the time the rematch was discussed. Kong was the bigger fighter of the two, but HBO wanted exclusive rights to the telecast. Even though at that point Zilla was already past prime and Kong was the attraction.
