Should Magarito be forgiven?

just turn the page and let him fight in the US. he might have lied, cheated(or tried to) and he got punished for that. they can scrutinize every preparation he make before fights, but let him fight.

He should never be allowed to box again. The intented to do some real ass harm to some body. This kind of shit makes me feel like some people here have never stepped in the ring before. Have you taken shot to the face with a standard glove before? Adding plastic/concrete style shit is a f*cked up thing to do. You could really hurt someone. Filling your wraps or tampering with gloves should never be tolerated. It can cause serious harm and with Margarito it could have, if he never got caught. We've had death and some serious life threatening injuries in boxing. These kinds of people should be shot.

No. What he did is one of the taboo's in boxing. Personally, I wouldn't have been against the idea of him not ever being allowed to fight again. Would I like to see him fight again from an entertainment stand point? Yes. The guy brings the goods every time he fights. It's a damn shame that he found it necessary to cheat though.

Well he did tell Cotto to shut his mouth (there was an article here) and he made fun of Cintron crying in his first loss at the second fight weigh in. But otherwise he does seem like a fairly humble guy. Yeah, but there was a big respect between both Tony and Miguel leading up to the fight. Pictures of both of them shaking hands and smiling. Cintron, weeell he's a different story... Kermit is an odd fellow and it's almost hard not to make fun of him, and as much as I'd hate to admit it publicly, I'm a Cintron fan, haha.

To even be humble in this sport is rarity, especially on the level he is. Outside of the ring he's very gentlemanly, and that's a very respectable lifestyle.
