Is there such a PED?
In negotiations with Mayweather, Pacquiao has repeatedly stated that he is willing to take any test (blood or urine) right after the match. This in itself should be effective testing...What PED helps a boxer during a boxing match that would be undetectable right after?
I've never heard of a drug that exists that you can cycle through before and after a boxing match whatsoever.
But then again, I am your average boxing fan, anyone here know?
apologies..........this has been done to death.........educate yourself........
That's the thing, dude, nowhere on the internet can I find such a PED.
Why bother testing for something that does not exist?
The PEDs that OSDT is supposed to detect can be detected right after the fight.
What's the point of testing that Pacquiao can eventually use as an excuse for losing to Mayweather?
Eliminate the possible excuses, agree to 14-day, and both fighters should just fight!
No, I am not. But this is why I am asking the question, Sherlock!
Read the thread, genius!!!

there is about 3 posters on this entire forum who even understand the basics of how PED's are beneficial and more importantly when they are beneficial.......you are not one of them.
He asked a question, not make a statement. Don't get so defensive due to your devotion for one fighter.

So, you're pretty much saying that even the OSDT test prescribed will be inconclusive and subject to scrutiny. So whatever tests Pacquiao takes will never fully free him from the stigma planted by the Mayweathers?
Yep - even daily testing wouldn't stop everything, as there are almost surely designer drugs that are out of your system in hours. But they're really, really expensive. But USADA testing is the best we have.

a concentration of albuterol in the water bottle. panama lewis apperantly used it pryor arguello thats the active ingrediant in an inhaler. it opens up the lungs and gives a second wind. im not sure of how long but yeah thats all i can think of
detectable in a post-fight test.
The synthetic component of EPO (what shows up in tests) is only detectable for a few days after it is used. The effects of the drug (enhanced red blood cell counts) last for weeks. Trying to test and infer a positive from high red blood cell counts alone is tricky business, as 1. it requires a good baseline, and 2. physical exertion (such as in a boxing match) lowers red blood cell counts (this is what causes exercise-induced anemia).

Thanks for the reply.
If this is the case, then Pacquiao does not take PEDs. If he's willing to take OSDT anytime up to 14 days til the fight. That 14 day window that he can take PEDs will not help him against Mayweather.

Boxers don't use PEDs during matches (Unless they're ignorant, and use amphetamines or something similar). They TRAIN on them! After training, you've already gotten the benefits of your PEDs, and can cycle off of them and still have the bonuses afterwards!
This is how baseball players use PEDs, in the offseason where they aren't being tested!
Do some research before posting please!
