Marcos Maidana is in conflict with his manager. No injury

To be honest, and I'm not trying to downplay Maidana as a top tier guy at 140, but I mean I'm not entirely sold on him. Honestly I think Bradley gives him a working over pretty good, his speed and combos would just be bad news for Marcos. That being said I don't think faking the injury, let alone admitting you faked it is the best move, but if he's really have trouble with his manager then that's some shady shit that needs to be fixed.

I never understood why Maidana was going to take on Bradley when all he had to do was go through 2 more low key fights to take on Khan. The deal to NOT fight Khan for 3 fights now makes sense because of a greedy manager. Getting away from his manager will not be easy and he is most likely tied in contractually. He could be out of action for some time.

the 140lb division has went from being the gem of boxing to being the embarassment of boxing...its a shame. i dnt wanna hear anything about any of these fighters until they fight each other.

madiana doesnt even belong in the conversation with the top 3 at 140...all he did was show ortiz had no heart he didnt look that good he got knocked down 3 times... you can make a case for him being in the top 3 (not top two). He might not be a slick, ultra skilled boxer but I wouldn't discount or downplay him either. dude is good, has heart and packs a punch.

Shit i was looking foward to Maidana Bradley glad that manager is gone now if he was ****ing over Maidana.There aint no big fight at 140 right now for Maidana with all the big players tied up in fights he should take a stay busy and wait for the dust to settle

Money is the issue for all the guys at 140 now that Bradley has made the "I need more money " a good reason to not fight.

Maidana said that his manager signed the deal to fight Bradley without his approval, and that he faked the injury because there wasn't enough money. He also said there was a huge difference between the money his manager told him he would have received for fighting Bradley and the real amount of money he was being offered (almost 300%). Hard Boiled: Doesnt suprise me. I always said Maidana was faking an injury. I agree that it wasn't the most intelligent thing to do. But he didn't fake it because he is afraid of Bradley. His manager was robbing him!
