Why do people call Yuri Foreman.. Yuri BOREman?

He fights regularly on the untelevised portion of cards for a reason. Hes lucky hes with Arum. He gets KO'd on Saturday. If you think Boreman can give Cotto a beatdown after Cotto has faced some of the hardest punchers around and only been stopped twice, then I know a nigerian prince you should meet.

I don't get it.. he's isn't boring. He's a classic example of a pure boxer that capitalizes on footwork. People say his fight with Santos was boring. But how? He knocked down Santos twice! I don't know about you, but he certainly gives me an adrenaline rush when he fights! Just wait until this Saturday when he gives Cotto a beatdown! I've never heard that before,Although I find his style quite predictable and he lacks the KO power and flash or speed. Cotto will beat him in my opinion.

He looked like a worldbeater against an inactive, aging Santos. But let's be honest, he usually is pretty boring and hasn't really proven himself on the world stage yet. And I'm not sure Cotto, who's lost 2 of his last 3 fights, (some say all three) and has never fought at 154, is going to prove much, or is deserving of a title shot, but we'll see. Yuri is underrated talent wise, excellent footwork and the guy can box. But let's not try to make him out to be something he's not.

The Santos fight wasn't bad at all. The Thompson fight put me to sleep. So I can understand the nickname. But if you enjoy it. To each there own I guess.

If your not a KO artist you aint fun to watch is the general consensus it would appear... personally i haven't seen many of his fights but if you enjoy him dont let people tell you otherwise man. Thank you, I won't. :fing02:
