seriously though, this is just a wild rumor right?
Adam Booth mentioned them as possible opponents, meaning they are in negotiations trying to secure a fight with either Toney, Rahman, Briggs, or (yeah right) a Klitschko brother.
If he actually believed he could beat a Klitschko he would want to fight them as soon as possible before Vitali retires. Fact is the first Klitschko fight will pay a ton, but if he beat them, then 2nd against the brother would be a huge event...biggest HW fight since Tyson vs. Lewis easily.
Yeah, this shit needs to happen, now.
Uh, don't call them out then? Sit back and fight loser tomato cans and keep your mouth shut? That would be all anyone would want.
Exactly. You believe you'd KO them so, do it! Im sure business wise its better for Haye attaning the belts from them. He beats them, he can get all the money he wants.
What part of boxing is a BUSINESS don't people get? Haye needs to make money while he's the champion. Fighting Klitschko is a huge risk, financially he's better off fighting lesser people first. Fighting Klitschko is what everyone wants to see, but it isn't the best way to maximize his profits.

when david haye starting calling out the klitschkos i was like yeah man!!! i really hate wlads style and i would like to see him KTFO, but it seems like haye doesn't have any intention of fighting either of the klitschkos and that pisses me off bad.
the more stupid excuses i hear from his camp the more respect i lose for him. he should put up or shut up!
I have a tiny bit of respect still left for Haye, but if he ends up fighting Harrison, that lil bit of respect left will go. You ran your mouth off about getting the klitchko's, now grow a pair and step in the ring with em.

Haye has made plenty of money in his last 2 fights, he made around £4m in the Valuev fight and several million in the Ruiz fight. He does not need any more money or warm up fights he is as good as he ever will be and has made enough money allready to retire on if he is sensible. He will get more money fighting wlad or vitali than anyone else.
Untill a contract is signed, who knows who he is going to fight next, hopefully it will be Vitali but even then he will get hate for fighting him, or even if he fought Wlad he would get crap.
If he does fight audley a lot of people will be dissapointed.
I like Haye, but this guy is losing his creditibility by the second. He needs to fight a Klit and seal the deal soon. All we hear from his camp are cryptic statements.
The way it looks now, he'll be fighting Fraudley, Chagaev or Valuev before he even thinks about fighting a Klit bro.
Wow, that makes Haye and his team sound smart. No No, jump in an maybe lose to Klitschko so the "fans" stop crying about it. Then you can't make those fights with the others because you no longer have the belt.

i still like haye, and i'm one of the few who doesn't want to see him rush in against the klitschkos and get himself put in the hospital. but really, audley harrison?
I will laugh so hard if Audley KO's Haye.
Audley has a puncher's chance, that's for sure, and if he does land say goodnight.
Seriously though, Rahman isn't even as much of a threat as crappy Sosnowski, not even close. And Briggs and Toney?? How are they even being mentioned. Toney is fighting MMA for christ's sake.
