If this Vitali shows up against Haye. Haye is gonna beat him. not a chance in the world

That was Vitali after a 2 week training camp. He's been busy writing legislature and drinking wine the past few months. He wanted to look like he had declined to bait Haye into a fight. He did train hes just slowing down. It happens. To me he didn't look slow. He look too reserved and relaxed. It seemed like he wanted to fight at a very measured pace just in case he did get tired more easily than normal. In the first 6 rounds I thought "man it looks like he just can't let the right hand go anymore." However when he turned it on at the end it was pretty clear that Vitali had another gear or two that he just hadn't felt comfortable kicking it up to.

No matter what happened, there was going to be racists creating threads about how poor Vitali is and such. He didn't even bother training, he took it very easy. He's nearly 39 years old and has a crippled body. What do people expect? I didn't think he looked too bad. He won virtually every round and scored an impressive knockout.

he did look slow and unfocused but it was enough to get a knockout win. just shows you in what bad state the heavyweight division is.

I actually don't think he looked bad at all, and I tend to agree with the rumours that he didn't really train very hard for this fight. He maintained great distance (never had a chance of getting hit by one of Sos's desperate shots) like he always does and that awkward left hook/uppercut of his was landing with regularity. His opponent was nothing but a stay busy fight but I thought he was fairly sharp. Haye should still be on alert. Hopefully David will man up though.

He trained for 4 weeks IIRC. 4 weeks, giving Shannon Briggs type effort when he felt like it. Not 4 weeks like Rocky in Rocky IV.

He was in the same condition as Lewis when he destroyed Vital's face. Lewis trained and had a normal camp, he was just a fatso. Too much Jerk Chicken. Vitali eats healthy. Usually the Klits gain weight in training camp. Big Vit came in light cause he didn't train for this one.

People had been saying that he didnt train much and wasnt taking it seriously. It showed. He missed a lot and looked tired fairly early on. I expect to see a much sharper Vitali against someone like Haye. He looks great when people think he might be in for a fight (Peter, The Nipple) but he didnt look sharp the entire time tonight. I think he will look like a beast against Haye. But he looked bad enough that I expect Haye may push for the fight now.
