Froch spoke some truths, but ultimately came off sounding bitter. Khan was just a kid at the time. No wonder why Khan holds a grudge.
LOL at Hide talking about Khan's chin.
And Duke Mckenzie's plan of rehabilitating Khan, was to take him back down to British level for 4 or 5 fights, then move up to European level for a few fights, and then maybe onto world level. Plus he didn't think moving to America and training with Freddy Roach and sparring with Pacquaio was a good idea. I love old Dukey lol.

It is easier to come back from a defeat with a nice soft touch and some cherry picking. Froch has got Abraham next ,not quite the same as taking on a part time school teacher with the worst right hand in boxing Oisin Fagan. Khan has yet to fight the equivilent of Kessler or Abraham.A more pertinant question would be how would Khan fare against the best in the division ?
Whatever anyone says about Froch he takes on the best and he stays on his feet. Right now he could do with a breather ,he has had 4 tough fights in a row with the hardest fight next.
First Froch is in his early 30s and Khan is in his early 20s, Yet Khan has fought almost the same ammount of professional fights as Froch. Froch became a world champion by fighting for a vacated title against Pascal at the age of 30. Khan won his world title from World champion Kotelnik at the age of 22, Making him the third youngest world champion in British boxing history.
I would fully expect Froch at the age of 32 odd to be fighting the best, He is a full grown man at or perhaps just past his peak, Khan is just turned 23 and still has a bit of kid in him.
Froch is obviously envious of Khan, He is a decade older and earns alot less than Khan, But not everyone can win a silver medal at the olympics aged 17 and become world champion at 22.
Froch has always been a bitter man chasing the shaddow of other boxers instead of plotting his own path to the top: For many years he kept talking about Joe Calzaghe a boxer levels above Froch, After that his obession with Khan began. Froch lost not only to Kessler but also to Andre Dirrell he get a hometown decision, But Dirrrel won that fight.
Anyway I dont expect Froch to beat Abraham and will probably hang up the gloves when he gets KTFO.

agreed for the most part. But he did get knocked down by the lesser puncher in the tournament(Taylor). That's why facing King Arthur next is real dangerous.
Good post. I'm wondering whether Froch can come back from his defeat as well as Khan did. Abraham is a sure fire way to tell yourself if you still have it or not.

Froch is tough, but as you say going into the ring with Abraham is the worst possible comeback opponent at SM. I see a KO from Arthur as he will start trading from early on now, as that Dirrell gameplan back fired horribly.
LOL, no one said anything bad about in this thread. They just knew you would make a comment.
Anyway, Froch made valid points but sounded like an asshole. Hide LOL. McGuigan was on point.
All in All apart from Froch and Hide, the rest knew he had the talent to come back and the having Freddie take him on was the blessing for Khan.

Barry McGuigan has the best advice for Khan. We ALL know he has a weak chin but without a good inside game he will always be vulnerable. Froch makes some harsh but true points. Although I can't stand Frank Warren his cherry picking to a title from that defeat is truly amazing.
