I've been thinking about this. The old lying sack of droopy crap is getting up there in age.
I'm hoping he retires soon, but I'm not betting on it. This old fart wants to hang on to the bitter end like Fidel Castro.
My question is, will the sport be better off when Arum is out of the picture? I know Top Rank will live on, so don't give me the "No, then all the good fights are gone" thing. Bob Arum is old and doesn't hype fights with his personality, only advertising and promotions. He's no Don King.
So how about it? Will boxing especially in America be better off when the old turd decides to finally trades in his suit and tie for a leisure suit or god forbid croaks?
Ive been waiting for his crooked ass to croke
It's hard for me to say as someone who considers myself a good person, but if it's for the good of the sport...
It will be. No question
Arum is too angry and too greedy. And he's a liar.
I question anyone who thinks we're better off with him. Fights like Cotto-Pacquiao would've still happened without Arum. On the flip side, IMO Floyd-Pac may not happen BECAUSE of Arum.
