Easy Pick!
Katsidis at +125, and unless he gets robbed away from home he'll win wide decision!
Katsidis too fast and too strong. Mitchell is very talented, but this is an ENORMOUS step up in competition for Mitchel.
He didnt have much trouble holding off slow punchers like Prescott, but Katsidis is MUCH faster and much better all around.
i like Katsidis by decision, and at +125 i think its a great buy.

Other Great bets this weekend are Khan-Malignaggi under 11.5, and Campbell over the very mentally weak and overrated Ortiz. And get this, ALL THESE BETS ARE UNDERDOGS!!!!!
told u guys mitchell is a clown....
He wasn't doing that bad, I think its a discredit to Katsidis's skills to say Mitchell is a clown. Mitchell looked alright in the beginning. Khan got KO'd by prescott in the 1rst round, atleast Mitchell was some what in the fight when Katsidis beat him.
Would you say Mitchell has less power than Graham Earl or Casamayor?
Also Katsidis does not have a weak chin. But he has been hurt because he walks onto shots.
not casamayor but thats kinda my point. Casamayor knocked Katsidis down TWICE in the first round, and he STILL didnt earn Katsidis respect. Katsidis had him hurt in round 4 and was doing very well before the one punch KO.
Same thing with Earl. That punch did nothing to earn Katsidis respect, and he got blasted out a few rounds later.
Mitchell better hope he lines up a perfect KO shot, cause if he doesnt he's just gonna get laid into all night
Yep I thought exactly the same. I honestly thought the stoppage was a little early. Katsidis, unlike Hatton, was actually in the fight.
Casamayor really laid into him, though. He snapped Kats' head back a few times and whilst someone like Smoger might've let things carry on, I had no complaint about the stoppage. Rather end it than let the bloke take undefended shots.
I re-scored it recently and I actually had Casamayor up by a single point, but some of those rounds were of the swing type. It would've been very close down the final stretch if it had gone the full 12.
IMO the Casamayor TKO looked almost like a carbon copy of Mayweather's check hook on Hatton, except on the other side of the ring. :laff2: He even staggered around afterwards like Hatton, and the ref jumped in at pretty much the same time.
In the end, great punch from out of nowhere.

In the end the fight really boils down to what Mitchell is made of. If he is champion material and tough, his superior skills should see him beat Katsidis on the cards. If he is anything less than that, Katsidis will be too much for him.
he does NOT have one punch KO power he has been blowing out STIFFS.
When he hit prescott it didnt even seem like he was landing a punch.
And katsidis has a weak chin but you still have to earn his respect with a punch because they guy is COMPELETELY wreckless. And if Mitchell doesnt earn his respect early it might be too late, katsidis might have inflicted enough damage already.

Katsidis' chin isn't weak, but he does cut rather easily.
Mitchell is a better boxer, and I'm expecting him to win by UD, or get stopped by the larger, stronger Katsidis.
Be shocked to see Kat win a decision.
Well there ya go. Worded differently, but otherwise exactly what I've been trying to say. People's definition of a "weak chin" is downright ludicrous around here, considering there are far worse chins than that of Kats - the obvious targets being Khan and Haye (in their former weight divisions, anyway).
A genuinely weak chin is one who regularly gets rocked on a basic punch or the first one that lands. Kats has only been down in 2 fights, and both were utter wars that should by rights redeem those KDs (whilst not forgetting that, in turn, he dished out KDs to both those guys).
Kats has a solid chin no doubt, huge heart too
I wouldn't say that Katsidis has a weak chin, he's just reckless. Against Earl he was going for the finish and got caught with a haymaker of a punch, and it only stunned him for a moment. He wasn't significantly hurt afterwards. Against Casamayor he came in wide open and got stunned early, worked his way back into the fight and then due to corner's advice went in trying for the KO and got KO'd with a big punch himself. Due to his style he takes a few punches to land his own and he wouldn't have made it this far with a weak chin.

its going to be a good fight,if mitchell boxes then he wins but if kats turns it into a war then he wins, for me it all depends on how much mitchelll will stay disciplined
To be honest Casa was pretty old and as for Diaz, he's incredibly overrated, i mean Paulie boxed the shit out of him, and wven had him on queer street, and i like Paulie, but he's practiacally a disabled fighter with those hands of his.
And so I repeat - Casamayor and Diaz gave Marquez absolute hell after Kats lost to them. They got stopped late, but they ain't useless 'bums' (as everyone loves repeating that word for fighters who doesn't fit the profile of Mayweather or other legends).
Thats bad news man. You should either bet on who you think will win, or dont bet at all. The odds are how they steal your money.
Mitchell's best attribute is his footwork. Very smooth movement and he uses the ring very well.
But he doesnt have the power to make Katsidis think twice before coming in. What is there to prevent Katsidis from just bumrushing Mitchell over and over and over again.
nah its called a value bet they both should be evens a took kat at 5/4 a bet all the time a can handle losing 40 lol got 75 on ortiz als0
