Khan cannot afford to lose to the likes of Paulie if hes to wants to be a superstar in the future. It's all on the line for him Saturday no if's and but's this is it. I think he will do it though.
whats interesting is how khan will get out of a fight with the likes of bradley and alexander if he gets past paulie. paulie isnt scared of nobody and he will fight them, but khan? not so much..
im looking forward to their fight too though, if he gets knocked out by paulie thats proof he doesnt have the chin to be a world class fighter even as talented as he is.
I don't understand why so many people are taking Malignaggi as a walkover for Khan.. He's far from it.. Ok he's not facing a puncher but Paulie has got quick hands, a good snappy jab, good movement and is quite elusive: all of which Khan has not been faced with before.. And he's not facing a fighter who's on the downslide.. So i actually think it's a good step up for him..
Prediction: Khan will have a decent start without any problems but once it gets to the middle rounds it will turn into a mini-war.. In the end Khan will get a close but clear Unanimous Decision 115-113..

If Khan can get his career on track after losing to the likes of Prescott I have no doubt with the media spin machine behind him he can come back very quickly. He has a niche following that will support him whatever the outcome. Real boxing fans already have their doubts about him a loss will lose their interest but most have given up on him already. His spin machine will say he arrived too early, has not been with Roach long enough to develop fully and the loss is a blessing in desguise and he will have time to bring on his skills to be a world beater now the presure is off.
Malignaggi has said many times he is at the end of his career and does not have many fights in him because of his hands. It is pension time for him and this fight will determine his retirement plan. a win will set him up for more payouts. This fight is more make or break for him than it is for Khan.
Haven't the careers of guys like Manny Pacquiao taught you people anything? He could get knocked out by Paulie Malignaggi, and come back with a vengeance. Losses do not mean a fighter is done. Khan is young, he has so much time to improve that we won't have an accurate account of his career for a long time.
that's a lie.
there is NO coming back from a malignaggi KO.

hes still very young to come back he could build up his rep again and challange, we have seen it happen before
Co-sign. The fact he got Ko'd at such a young age, has allowed him to recover and allowed him to try and establish himself as a great fighter.
No screw ups allowed from now on though.
This will be true of every Khan fight since his KO.
To establish himself as a true world champion he needs to win all his fights impressivly. And step up in quality.
I think the fight could be very interesting on sat. Paulie is a experienced veteran who has fast hands and isnt that easy to hit.
To me Khan still seems a bit amatuerish, and not very confident. I think Paulie could een hurt him.
