Now that the final PPV numbers are up for the Mayweather/Mosley fight (1.2 million more or less), the next question to be asked now is, do you believe that Mayweather Jr., is a big draw enough to demand a higher share of the profits in their negotiations for a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight?
Please note that i'm not arguing on WHO IS THE BIGGER DRAW. I'm just asking if you believe that Mayweather is big enough as a draw that he is entitled to a bigger share of the pie for that fight.
If there is an argument over the purse, hopefully HBO steps in and says ''We'll cover the difference'' or some shit.
No lie if I was a billionaire I would cover the difference to satisfy these guys egos just so that the fight could get on.
1.2 million isn't the official number yet---it's speculation still to this point----and 1.2 million at 65 dollars a pop is a great number if it comes out to be that----
thye should still fight for 50/50 though, like they were going to do last time----the money they will both make will be staggering so it doesn't matter----bottomline is, just make the fight happen, so floyd can spank that ass right quick----
no asking for more we may never see this fight happen but better alternative they can make it 60-40 for the winner...
That's the best solution if anything
It doesn't matter we are all just boxing fans we don't decided the purse split we all want are favorite fighter to get more money but in reality its not are place to decide who gets more money we should start to focus on boxing more and less about the ppv numbers and money splits
In my opinion, 60/40 is fair enough for Floyd because he is doing more promotion of the fight by his trash talk while Pac is a shy type of person that does not hype the fight much other than he will do the talking in the ring as he always says.
As long as the fight will happen, 60/40 for Floyd should be good enough and I don't think Manny will not agree with that especially if he will lose the election tomorrow (to recover his election expenses).
Hope Floyd will spend all his winnings with the Shane fight and need more money to fight Pac later this year...:boxing:
Not sure if serious... If you think this should be anything other than 50:50 you are on crack cocaine and heroin.
Floyd has done bigger numbers than Pacquiao giving him the right to "claim" he is the bigger draw but for the sake of boxing they should make this fight 50-50 or as someone else said 60-40 to the winner if there egos are just to big to make it an even split.
P.S.: SoldierWarrior, that Manny pic shows the stark difference in his body from 130 to what is now. His upper body is ripped. Amazing that he has been able to keep his speed while bulking up so. That Ariza "concoction" ;) has done wonders for the Pacman.
Ariza is a strength and conditioning coach. He develops effective training programs in the areas of strength, speed, endurance and power. Pacquiao is a beast during training. His training regimen is what keeps him buff and ripped.

let's just get the fight on. we shouldnt encourage floyd's greed, and threads like this do not help matters. i don't think we should even discuss this shit in case floyd or one of his groupies come on here and are swayed by it. let's just pray they get it sorted and forget about who gets what amount of money...

No, 50/50 sounds fair. Or 60/40 for the winner. But 50/50 sounds fair enough to make the fight happen. No point of fighting over money, 50/50 should be fine for the fact that both fighters are already pretty rich.
