Reminds me a lot of Mike Tyson's early days, when they asked him why he would get up and run at 4AM. He said because no one else was doing it.
That's the main reason Mayweather is the fighter he is, because he puts in more work than 99.9% of the fighters in the world
What Floyd doesnt know is that when he's sleeping, his opponent is training! lmfao
exactly floyd is a retard. he's training at night when his opponent is sleeping but when FLOYD is sleeping from 4am to 2pm in the afternoon, guess what his opponent is training. shit is dumb as hell.
see the problem why this is all bullshit is that floyd is not 'training when his opponent is training' and 'training when his opponent is sleeping.'
Yes floyd trains in the middle of the night but guess what? He also sleeps until the afternoon to make up for that. so it's not like he trains twice as much, he just has a different training schedule period.
They said in 24/7 floyd goes to the gym in the AFTERNOON after he wakes up that's because he sleeps all morning. so guess what? While he's sleeping in the morning most other boxers are training
yup, floyd is just being dumb. Floyd probably sleeps at 4am-6am, wakes up at around 12-2.
then trains anytime around the night, when a normal 9-5 person would be sleeping.
Where as Tyson, or benard hopkins, wake up at 4am to train, but are probably in bed by 8pm.
It would be dumb for any boxer, or anyone to neglect sleep

Its a trap boy term derived from "while you on ya snooze, I'm on my job". Meaning at 3 am while ur tucked in bed, he up training.
the fukk out of my thread homo.
I remember when floyd said to Marquez,"If you sign to fight me at 144 lbs,I'm gonna miss weight on purpose". When floyd did exactly that,I thought he was such a prophet. The hardest workers don't miss weight on purpose!!
I know theres more to that. I'm explaining to someone why Floyd is the beast he is and I wanted to quote that.
floyd likes to run at night so that's why he said what he said
My favorite Floyd quotes? "Shane says I only fight for money. Well DUH! I'm a prizefighter!" "He just got outta the hot tub time machine."
There's even a quote I LOL'ed when Floyd said something about Shane wearing a green suit looking like something out of Avatar.
Floyd and his family should have a show on VH1 or something. If Brandy and Ray J can get a damn show then Floyd should definitely have one.
All it really means is that Floyd has a fcuked sleep pattern from not having a regular job and hitting strip-joints, so he just trains whenever.
LOL. Yeah, that's what it means. *sarcasm*
Wait, I could be wrong. But didn't he say "We all don't perform the same under the lights", atleast that is what I think I heard, didn't he say that?
Yeah, that was it.
We may all hit the bag alike, we may shadow box alike, hit the mitts alike, we may all jump rope alike, but we don't all perform the same under pressure.

Actually, when you think about it, it makes sense and I'm suprised more people don't do it.
The fights happen late at night (10-11pm or so) so it makes sense to prepare the body to be 'active' and responsive for that time.
People's natural circadian patterns are to work during the day and to rest at night. Well, if his opponents are putting all their efforts during the day, the body will be naturally slower and less responsive (with the exception of a few minutes adrenaline during the first round or so) than a body that is honed and intuitively programmed to perform at its peak at night.
It's not the only key to Floyd's success - his skill is without question - but it surely must be a deciding factor.
yeah, I read an article a while back about a study which tested and compared the physiology of people who were mostly active at night and those who are active during the day and there was significant data showing that those active at night functioned less effective in the day regardless of the amount of rest they got prior and vice versa with those active during the day. something like that.
