for 2 rounds shane mosley for 4 zab judah.
maybe evander holyfield, marvin hagler, bernard hopkins, antonio margarito,so many more but props to the older fighters from the 1800's or 1900's too for boxing hundreds of rounds and fighting practically barehanded
15 rounds
blistering heat
fights every few months
Heck these old school fighters were tough as shit.
Today's fighters may bet the past, but they aint tough mofo's, they need to eat kangaroo meat and get manicures and shit
I would guess Marvin Hagler, and either or both of the Klitschkos.
I don't include fighters who obviously were abnormally gifted physically, like Harry Greb or..........
Wladimir Klitschko lost two fights because of poor stamina. And Vitali was huffing and puffing against Lewis. Another legendary comment from you. Shut up.
You can't compare that to modern day fighting, fighting back then was completely different it wasn't fought at anywhere even close to the intensity it is today it was like 1 jab each every 50-60 seconds.
Yeah plus when they were bare nuckled they had to be extremely careful not to break their hands. They couldnt throw at full power and had to be careful where they placed their shots. So although we dont have footage I am willing to bet fights those days went into two categories, brawls which were over very quickly or the technical by the rules fights which took very long because they had to be protective of their hands. Though the focus was conditioning cause you had to wear your opponent down gradually with less powerful punches.
dont get the hate jones was supposed to be awsome in the gym when he was younger who plays basketball then defends world title same day and didnt look out of breath give the guy a break
He was a great fighter no doubt.
But how can anyone call him the best conditioned?
Jack Burke fought 111 rounds.
111 rounds X 3 minutes per round = 5 hours and 33 minutes of fighting.
Therefore, Jack Burke is the best conditioned fighter ever...along with his opponent, Andy Bowen.
The longest fights in rounds belongs to Battling Nelson, 43 rounds. Please get your facts straight.
no they didn't...
those stupid days when they didn't even have jabs, they had about one good round then the rest is just them fighting one heart, resting against each other swinging with a wild punch everynow and then trying to get the opponent outta there
either that or 3 punches a round
Moron.
Henry Armstrong, Joe Frazier recently Joseph Calzone, Manny Pacquaio.
