Most boring fight of the year so far??

Pacquiao-Clottey by a mile, Eddie Chambers did what he was able to do and it wasn't enough, he saw a vision in his head and clearly wasn't able to bring it to life but he at least tried, when he stopped throwing with conviction it was because he was forced to by his opponent, he gave it his best shot. with Hopkins-Jones I was entertained because they did what I expected, to be honest I was mad because hopkins was cheating but me as a fan I can't pick this fight as the most boring because Roy tried except Bernard cheated his way into the W, he acted and cheated his way to the W, kept hitting him low and doing little dirty tactics to win the bout, it was more frustrating for me than it was boring because regardless how bad it looked they both gave it all they had.. Pacquiao-Clottey though had 1 man who had EVERY opportunity to hit his opponent and without reason or warrant he just eased back and let his opponent punch him. Clottey wasn't tired, hurt, fatigued or any other condition that can mess with a fighters performance, for 12 whole rounds he was fresh and had enough in him to let his hands go he simply didn't, he simply just sat there and threw less than 200 punches while letting Pacquiao damn near shatter compu box records on him, it bored me because he wasn't trying, it was boring because he didn't do what I knew he could. he could have hurt Pacquiao worst and even if he still lost he could have fended off better than just shelling p and then backing away when you have your chance to make your claim in the fight. in a nutshell a fight is boring when only 1 guy is fighting or at least trying to

Iknew Hopkins v Jones would be awful when it was made...joke of a fight. Hopkins nuthuggers (aka RA rugged man) claims he "don't care and will fight anyone" yet i know 99% of boxing fans would rather see Hopkins fight Danny Green or Chad Dawson than Roy Jones. Best thing is he actually thinks it means something beating him in 2010

Big Jones fan here, but yeah unfortunately he was involved in a snoozefest. But to Jones' credit he has never been in a boring fight before that. Even against one of the most boring fighters I have seen, John Ruiz, Jones made that fight exciting. Hopkins on the other hand, has been in his fair share of boring fights and is known for being in snoozers.

Yeah but still, that's bad cause it wasn't Pac fault, I felt bad for Pacman, Clottey came to defend for 12 whole rounds, he shouldn't have a chance to be on PPV again in his life! Regardless who's fault it was, the fight was very boring.

Hopkins - Jones II without a doubt! i was seconds away from ripping my eyes out! litterally.. it hurt to watch that fight :( I was lucky, I didn't take that fight serious so I fell asleep saturday and heard it was a bore-fest like I expected. Pretty bad when a fight is so piss-poor that I don't even bother to stream it. That fight was 15 yrs too late. They could have been having their 3rd fight by now or earlier. But they waited 15 years to make a rematch. Freaking ridiculous in my opinion.

This should be a no brainer. Neither Hopkins or Roy did anything to win the fight, Roy just did the least, which is why Hopkins won. Alot of BHOP's fights turn out that way when he fights good fighters. He either loses a close one or wins a close one. Same shit happened in the wright, calzaghe fight. I'm thinking its BHOP making the fight sloppy looking. But I could be wrong, could it just be coincidence? Should we give BHOP the benefit of the doubt, or is he the one making the fights look sloppy?

My vote goes to Roy Jones vs Hopkins II, I knew it wouldn't be exciting, but I never thought it would be a snoozefest like that. Who wins this award in your opinion?? This should be a no brainer. The worst fight of 2009 is Haye vs Valuev. Wlad vs Chambers was much more exciting even if it happened in 2010.

Chambers v Klitschko I didn't even try to watch the fight, I knew it would be bad, but I didn't know it was that boring.... All the Klitschko's fan said that Chambers was gonna come to fight and that it was an excellent opponent. Altough I never gave him a chance to win (he has absolutely no power)....

Hopkins vs Jones II no doubt, at least Wlad closed the show and hurt Chambers a few times earlier..Jones vs. Hopkins was two washed up guys looking at each other for 12 rounds. I was tempted to pick that one. But that scuffle after the bell was more exciting then Wlads left hook.
