lets be honest here, the guy has lost 3 times and 2 of them were knockouts
how can this guy be number 1 when you have floyd mayweather who is 41-0? floyd is obviously the #1 fighter in the world, this isnt even a debate
the only people who make this an argument are pactards.
floyd has never lost to bums (especially by knockout) so until he does, he remains #1.
and another thing i would like to say. if paul williams beats cintron this weekend, he is officially p4p #2 in the sport. atleast williams ONE and only loss was to a guy who amounted to SOMETHING in the sport. he didnt get KO'd by 2 bums like pac did. not to mention he viciously avenged his 1 and only loss by a 1st round KO, so that chapter is done. if paul beats cintron, he is easily p4p#2 and floyd is easily p4p#1
i seriously hope people didnt forget pac has 3 losses...
Only a hater would start a thread like this

You have got to be kidding. First off, please forgive Manny Pacquiao for not being born surrounded by professional fighters like Floyd Mayweather. This argument about "Manny has been knocked out by bums" is just pathetic. Yes Manny was knocked out, early in his career, long before Roach started turning him into what he is today. Please answer the following question for me. ARE YOU TO GODDAMNED STUPID TO COMPREHEND THE CONCEPT OF SELF IMPROVEMENT, YOU JACKASS!!!!!? Claiming that Paq isnt good now because he lost years ago is like saying the Saints are not the best football team right now because they were not very good five years ago, stupid, just stupid. Manny has won twelve fights in a row, the first fight with Marquez was a draw, Paq knocked him down three times in the first round, then got outboxed most of the remaining rounds. Marquez probably won eight rounds. In the rematch, Paq won a very close competitive fight, boxed much better than he had in the first fight, likely won six rounds instead of the four he won in the first fight. This is what we call "self improvement", understand now dumbass? That second fight was several years ago, Paq has improved his boxing skills much more since then, continuous self improvement, dumbass. Floyd Mayweather, when compared to Paq, was born with boxings version of a silver spoon in his mouth, trained from a very early age by very good fighters, Paq did not have that advantage. Take nothing away from Floyd's talent, his work ethic, and his accomplishments, but he started at the top of the mountain, Paq had to climb that mountain from the very bottom to the very top, he made it, and haters like you cant stand or comprehend it. Its been nice talking to a brick wall, have a nice day, dumbass.
Manny was thoroughly out boxed by Erik Morales. What do you think Floyd Mayweather would do to him?Well, we will never know. They never fought each other. Fantasy fights are like more like theories. We'll never know what happens to the theory until it's proven in a real-time experiment. But based on my theory, Mayweather would clown him and make him his bitch.
P4P ranking is based on skills rather than resume. You can have a great resume, but if you haven't looked good in your last couple couple fights you won't be ranked high on P4P lists. Resume wise I think Floyd beats Manny pretty easily, not only because he is unbeaten but also because he has been more convincing in the majority of his wins against arguably better competition. However, Pacquiao's recent performances have been extraordinary, which is why he is considered the P4P #1. Floyd's recent performances have also been very good, and in light of his dominating win over Mosley it might be time to transfer the P4P #1 title back to him.

nyahahahahaahhahhahahahaha
gotta love these newb posters that consider anyone with a loss to be basically a bum. at least thats the way they describe them. if only we could ban people based on stupidity...
Agreed.
Floyd is the greatest WW ever, he's better than SRR for sure.
You may ask why?
I say it's because SRR has nearly 20 losses!
:op:
SRR never lost to a welterweight though, the lightest person to ever beat him weighed in at 153.5 lbs, and that was when SRR was already clearly past his prime.

I'm going to use a floyd line on you AND I HOPE YOUR SIMPLE BRAIN CAN GRASP IT..." I've never been beat as a number 1 so why shouldn't I still be number one." Floyd said that when he announced his come back and issued his "hitlist"...remember?!?!?!?! Manny hasn't been beaten as number 1 p4p, so why should the throne be relinquished? Give me an intelligent answer
Agreed.

Well said Bro. NVM to flomos if you have a lost you cant be number 1, so Flyod beats the goat Robinson.
well if were going by undefeated streaks then Julio Cesar Chavez is the single greatest boxer to ever be born. his streak went 90-0
and honestly people to end this thread lets look at his more recent post "I have floyd ranked higher than SRR and Ali"
obviously this man is either trolling so hard he should be given a prize, or he is literally what the internet and boxing forums have become.

I personally think Mayweather should be number 1 but this is a horrible argument. Those losses came a long time ago.
