I don't think so. I'm not a great Merchant fan, but he is honest and always speaks his mind. Mayweather has avoided prime opponents in the past, and did fight an old version of Mosley (which is still a good win BTW). Merchant was a little negative to Floyd in the post fight interview, which I didn't like. But hey, he speaks his mind. That is what he is supposed to do.
