It's really fked up when a mild mannered, decent dude gets beat up like that. He was verbally shredded during 24/7 and then gets humiliated in the fight on top of it.

I felt bad for him in some of those later rounds but that's the business...if Shane had Floyd in that position he would try his hardest to get him outta there too...

At least Naz didn't pull him out or Mosley got stopped. that would have been better then being helpless and out classed for the last 9 rounds IMO

Im re-watching the fight and during the post interview i think Floyd said "You're a hell of a fighter, you taught me how to fight" so Floyd def respects Shane but ya kinda sucked seein him get his ass kicked that bad

He'll feel better when he checks his next bank statement. It's part of the game. He knew what he was getting into, and he'll be fine. No shame in losing to one of the greatest fighters the world has ever seen and easily the best of the last 25 years.
