Will the Ring Magazine rank Floyd P4P Number 1?

I think it is a possibility. Call me crazy, but i wouldnt put it past them to do it just to "force" manny into a fight with Floyd. To me, Floyd is the best boxer of our generation, but you cant ignore the run Manny has been on.

Does that also go for Calzaghe, if he was to come out of retirement ? No because Calzaghe wasn't #1 p4p fighter when he retired

No, I can't rememer a time when the ring downgraded a P4P number 1 after fighting top opposition. They did it with Jones because he wasn't fighting the best at the time. Mayweather has fought Mosley, JMM, Hatton, De La Hoya, Baldomir Pacquiao has fought Clottey, Cotto, Hatton, De La Hoya, Diaz Both guys have fought the best in there past few fights (even if Diaz, JMM and Baldomir were seriously overmatched and seen as that before the fight) so I would probably put them joint first if I could, until one of them lost or they fought each other. It's a debate that won't be solved until they face each other or either one has a serious drop in competition.
