Im from Hamilton also. I use to train with Jessica Rakoczy (31-3 12ko's) down at Regency Boxing. She moved out to Vegas and began training with Jeff Mayweather, she is a 2 time WBC female lightweight champion. She also beat Mia st. John twice, knocking her out in the 2nd round of their second fight.

Nice, thats pretty badass man. Id train but Im pretty much a pussy. The closest I get to being tough is narrowly avoiding getting stabbed at Hess.
I live 20 minutes from Niagara Falls, and the boxingscene sucks here. It is all about mma now. Niagara Falls is a pretty fun place though. I know Casino Niagara will be playing Mosley vs. Mayweather. Where I will be tonight.
I'm from Montreal. Boxing is alive and kicking-ass here. Montreal probably has the best crowd in boxing.... in North America at least. If it weren't for all that casino money in Las Vegas, Montreal would be the biggest boxing city in the world.... and yes, that includes New York. We support our fighters even before they become champs and the Bell Center has such a great atmosphere. I feel lucky to be a boxing fan living in this city.
I'm from Hamilton and the boxing scene is horrendous here. Im hard pressed to even find a bar playing Mayweather Mosley here outside of Toronto. Your lucky if a "boxing fan" here knows 4 names outside of Pacquiao/ Mayweather. Unfortunately Ontario seems to be way more consumed with MMA. Prepare to see affliction T-shirt after affliction T-shirt if you wander around here.

I don't agree with the Canadian scene sucks outside Quebec.Edmonton scene is okay & casino Rama does well.the heavyweight & cruiserweight divisions have been holding good fights.Quebec scene is huge both in boxing & mma.Edmonton has solid mma scene & decent boxing scene.the best guys fighting in Canada were not even born here.tonight for $40 I'll see 6 card fight with Canadian middleweight champion & WBC continental Americas cruiserweight title giving the winner a top 10-15 ranking with a possible world title shot in future.edmontons kris Andrews(15-9 Canadian jr middleweight champion)won the Canadian title on sportsnet in a slugfest here in Edmonton earlier in the year.that win got him on the Hopkins/jones undercard vs craig mcewan(18-0)where he got beat up.casino Rama has held numerous world title fights,& with the cw fight tonight here in Edmonton will open the door for ranked WBC contenders coming here for a shot at the title.tye fields has many connections.he's brought a few decent pro heavyweights here & his next fight in July may be broadcast on the fight network.fields has friends within the network & is looking to improve nationwide coverage of important Canadian fights.I think the scene is improving nationwide.britishcolombia has the odd card in Richmond but I really haven't heard much out of that province.

Quebec has by far the best scene but I'm okay with molitor.he's fought some good guys but he's a step below elite.2 time champion can't be that bad.pascal & bute are pretty solid world class boxers but I enjoy the domestic scene as well.Brampton holds regular cards...I even hear there is a pretty good looking female boxer there.
lol what's her name?
The boxing scene in Canada is pretty bad man honestly. They would rather show curling and poker on sports channels than Boxing...
yup....
Lucian Bute is the only good Canadian fighter right now I agree Tunney.

Chris Johnson is a 1992 Olympic Bronze Medalist.
Former Professional Boxer.
Fought Antonio Tarver in his last fight (which was an eliminator to fight Roy Jones). Was winning the fight on points, but was KO'D in the last round. Suffered a brain injury from that KO, was taken out on a stretcher. And then had to retire and now trains.
yesssssir. Mississauga here. Chris Johnson's Fighting Allliance aka Clancy's Boxing http://www.fightingalliance.ca/
Is that chris Johnson molitors trainer?
