Me and a couple of guys from work were debating this, one guy insisted that DLH was a one-dimensional fighter who would get outboxed easily and he only relied on his heigth, reach and power to get him through.
I strongly disagree!
I agree, Go through DLH career. One dimensional is not the word I would use for him. Pavlik, yes. DLH no
even pavlik is more than one dimensional. he was showing good timing in the middle rounds against martinez. it was there against taylor too. he may not be very good, but he's got a decent sense of the basics. it's very rare to see someone at championship level who is truly one dimensional.
WOW. 2 people actually think he was one dimensional as a fighter. Good luck to you two. DLH was a very well rounded fighter. Im guessing your coworker started watching boxing once Pac got famous.
Funny, I asked him about past DLH fights and the only ones he "remembered" were his fights against Mayorga and against Pac, yet the idiot hadthe nerve to call Oscar 1-dimensional.
