TV analyst Pacquiao to scout would-be opponent
April 27, 2010 18:59:16
Manny Pacquiao will try to scout his would-be next opponent when the Filipino boxing icon joins the television panel for the Floyd Mayweather Jr.-Sugar Shane Mosley bout on Saturday (Sunday in Manila).
Pacquiao will share his insights as the third analyst for the WHO R U PICKING? megafight, which will be simultaneously aired at GMA-7 and Solar TV at 1 a.m., alongside renowned sports commentator Quinito Henson and sports broadcaster Chino Trinidad of GMA-7.
This was announced during the press launching of the WHO R U PICKING? Mayweather-Mosley bout at the New World Renaissance Hotel in Makati.
Mosley or Mayweather could become the reigning pound-for-pound king's next opponent in another expected multi-million dollar showdown.
Only last March, the expected megafight between the pride of General Santos City and the outspoken Mayweather collapsed after the American's camp demanded that Pacquiao undergo Olympic-style drug testing.
Pacquiao's camp refused the proposed dope testing and the Mayweathers, despite getting clearance from the Nevada Athletic Commission that the Filipino is drug free, pulled out of the negotiating table.
The renowned People's Champion found himself facing Joshua Clottey, who is a defensive-minded Ghanian fighter who refused to go head-to-head with Pacquiao.
Pacquiao will get a chance to see first hand the styles of both fighters who wanted to face him inside the ring for for pride and big money.
The Mayweather-Mosley bout is expected to be a rapid-chess match as both are thinking fighters who always wait for every opportunity to strike. Both fighters also rely on their speed.

What's hilarious is floyd fans thinking anyone is scared of him. Why would anyone be scared of a light hitting, low volume, overly defensive, scared to engage dude?????? He didnt wreck DLH,JMM,Baldomir,or Judah. I'll give him credit for his KO of Hatton. Though Hatton was overreated anyways. Floyd's bark is much greater than his bite.
I just saw another news article, Pac will NOT be ringside, LOL (Boo!)

Thats a slap in the face.
If they was smart they would talk about this on 24/7. This would easily get 300,000 buys more just for the possibility of Manny and Floyd coming face to face.

not only that...but..I thought Floyd didnt have any fans..and the majority were going to see Mosley win and Floyd lose..what happened to that..though so......
and No way is Pac stepping in the ring..he loss some points on rejecting the whole OST debacle, he wouldnt dare put himself in the situation..
if he is ringside, he will stay there..and I doubt he will even be ringside..but we shall see...
Basically. What's he gonna say when Floyd calls him out about it to his FACE?
"Uhh...you so tough, fight me while I'm on steroids!"
They're probably going to ask him to go up in the ring during the post-fight interview. FACE TO FACE with the winner. Oh shit. I want to see a Roach-Sr. brawl.
edit: Pac has balls to even attend this with a majority Floyd fan crowd.
As if that really takes balls. What could happen to him? What is he risking?

lets here those baised facts,
floyd has plenty of facts
Pac walked away from the fight
originally agreed to OST but refused
constant lies and contradictions from their team and ARUM
floyd accepted mannys demands but manny didnt accept floyd.
no need to be biased, these are all facts he can present and make them look stupid
You forgot to add your favorite fact, "Floyd is def bigger than Pac even in Asia"
Imagine Floyd beat Mosley, Pac enter in the ring at the end of the fight challenge Floyd, then there's some beef and everyone goes excited. Then they schedule a fight in autumn and fight in the biggest fight of the history, I will seriously consider that all the drugs test shit was bullshit to make more hype for the fight. Also it gave the chance to Pac to presents himself at the election coming from a win against Clottey
