I mean I know he has a good relationship with these two guys but why is he using them as sparring partners for his biggest fight since DelaHoya 1 and Forrest II? It doesn't make sense.
And I hear Floyd is sparring with Tim Bradley.
Forbes fights nothing like Shane. As for who Mosley is sparring with he works with different people all year round to stay active.Karl Dargan in my opinion is a good sparring partner for Mosley because he is super fast and YOUNG(24).Mosley said a lot of what he's doing with Dargan has to do with reaction time.Shane also spars with middle weights.People forget Mosley has been a pro fighter for 20 some years people on hear act like he doesn't know what he's doing
In the end, it's impossible to find a sparring partner that can do what Mayweather does as well as he does it.
Fixed.
I tend to agree about Shane's sparring partners being inadequate, but there's really nothing you can do about it. Who is out there that could give you anything close to Mayweather?
Forbes, ironically (since he's in Floyd's camp), is probably the closest thing, but while he could give you work with the Mayweather technique, he doesn't come close to emulating the speed.
I just posted a new thread and Floyd has been sparring with Steve Forbes and Middleweight Ishe Smith.
this makes sense
Ishe is a LV resident and if I remember correctly has sparred with Shane briefly
Forbes has known the Mayweathers forever
But wouldn't the manager have to handle all no fight business.

Don't you think they would deny having bradley there to spar? They usually run a very secretive camp.
non fight business

nope not true according to his promoter whom I just asked
WOuld the promoter be involved? I thought sparring requests were handled and confirmed by the managers and the promoters do actual fights only. This could be good money for bradley, especially if there was a "bidding" war

What makes you think that they show and tell everything on 24/7, that's going on in camp?
It's most likely a distraction, to make Floyd take it easier on Shane, supposedly..

do they show any sparring on 24/7? it sucks if they dont ....
Floyd's camp has never allowed sparring sessions to be filmed for public use. I suspect they do get a trusted memeber to film it and archive the sessions so they can be released when Floyd retires.......would be good to see the Zab and Peterson sessions.
What I was told was that Shane wanted Bradley but Floyd offered more and Bradley went with to that camp
Zab and Bradley.....it it's true he should be well preperaed for Shane's speed.

Who told you that??
Inside info from my dude that writes for a boxing mag
WOW......if that's true that is big news.....all indications are that Floyd is beating up on his sparring partners and taking very little in return.......wonder if that applies to Tim........
he'd post without getting flamed
(get it?)
lol! probably not,
a floyd fan with a join date of 1 month ago with negative rep would tell nas his gameplan sux
