They should make it a doubleheader in Copenhagen Denmark with the Kessler vs Green fight
That's a good idea, but impossible. Green's fight against Ward in June will not give him enough time till August to rest. If only that fight wasn't delayed because of another questionable injury. :grumpy:
If the fight is in California or even Vegas for that matter, that's still home turf for Abraham. Armenians from the area will show up in droves making Froch wish he'd fought in Berlin instead. So ticket wise, it'd still make money, albeit still much less than in Germany.
Like I've said before, holding the fight in Belgium, Netherlands, or another European location half-way between England and Germany is a plausible option. Europe has a great transportation system. Train travel is affordable enough and fast, so fans from both sides have an opportunity. Though I'm not sure how many of them besides the few hard cores would actually make the trip.
With fighters like Froch and Abraham neutral locations don't really make sense for ticket sales and for fans. Just try and get as neutral of judges and referee as possible (impossible I know)...
It shouldnt be in germany, might aswell give AA the fight if it is. I would say USA, even though its not fair on either fans, but its fair in terms of home avantages.
Connecticut casinos
Both men got no fans in the US. Froch got what most americans consider a robbery and AA made Dirrell twitch on the floor. Def have to happen in Europe.
France actually makes sense. It's close to both England and Germany.
Geographically France probably makes the most sense, along with Denmark.
I just don't know what the following is in France.
It shouldnt be in germany, might aswell give AA the fight if it is. I would say USA, even though its not fair on either fans, but its fair in terms of home avantages.
If not Germany or Britian i say America. Both have similar distance to travel and being as there are no Americans involved no chance of bias.
Not sure Abrahams would want to fight there after his last bout.
Also bit of a piss take for fans of either man, tough call. Might be better to have it in Germany with a showtime referee and American judges.
Uncasville, Connecticut or Atlantic City. I want to see Froch lose live.
Fellow CT man I see. I've seen Froch win at Foxwoods.
Mohegan or Foxwoods actually make sense if it's in America. It's much easier then going to Vegas and the time difference isn't as drastic for either fighter.
MSG is too big for that fight in America, unless they do it in the theater.
France? Netherlands? Denmark?
Like I said thwe deal is that the fight has to be in Europe.
So anywhere outside the impsct zones of both fighters's teams.
