Floyd Mayweather has made a complete fool out of Pacquio, and I'm not happy.

1st of all, it was $10 million PER EXCESS POUND and NOT OUNCE. 2nd, floyd jr. NEVER HAD PROBLEMS MAKING THE WEIGHT on any of his fights. In fact, he could have easily made weight for his fight with marquez, but for some reason, decided to do the cowardly thing and went beyond their agreed weight in spite of the odds already overwhelmingly in HIS favor. So it was not an impossible requirement for floyd jr. to achieve. The stipulation was only made to prevent him from repeating his weight shanegan. Manny's people also backed off in the blood stipulation which many floyd fans tend to forget. They originally demanded the test up to 30 days before the fight and then they backed up and requested only 24 days before the fight. What most floyd fans simply don't realize is that Floyd's 14 day window is a 14 DAY WINDOW TO JUICE UP. According to BALCO, they only need 24 HOURS TO HIDE DRUGS IN THE SYSTEM. In other words, if Manny really was cheating, he would have simply jumped at the 14 day CHEATING window floyd jr. gave him. He could have easily trained for close to TWO WEEKS JUICED UP and then stop taking the drugs 24 hours before the fight where the drugs would then be hidden in his system and he'd have the benefit of training with HGH in his system. People also forget that Manny was agreeable to random URINE testing up to the day of the fight which would have made it impossible for him to take PEDS and the only opportunity he had was to take HGH which in itself also has questionable benefits for boxers. if gbp and floyd's intention for asking for the drug testing is to "clean up the sport" and not an accusation against pac, then why isn't their may 1st undercard going OST testing? why just floyd? idiots believing every word that comes out of floyd mouth

I'm not handing him shit, i'm saying regardless of his *intentions*, trying to promote more drug testing as well as fighting a top-ranked guy like Shane Mosely instead of someone like Matthew Hatton are positive moves for the sport. It sucks! the weight penalty won't mean shit if floyd made it, which is what he is supposed to do anyways. gbp and co. came out with statements suggesting that manny was on PED's if he didn't bow down to their demands in the middle of their negotiations manny and co. told them to promptly fuck off i agree. this whole thing sucks. but don't blame manny for refusing to go something not required of him in the first place. i would have love for him to just take the stupid tests and get it over with, but floyd and co.'s intention for the drug test is laced with malice.

We're a week out from what might be the biggest fight in a decade, and somehow the storied resurrection of boxing, Manny Pacquio, is not involved. How strange is that? New and old boxing fans alike were referring to Manny as the savior of the sport, a Christ-like figure sent to save boxing in the wake of declining numbers, lackluster matchups, and MMA's ever growing popularity. We haven't heard his name much at all lately though, unless it was the same sentence as "drug tests" and "steroids", or potential match-ups with disgraced (Margarito), deceased (Valero), or just plain lesser fighters (Khan). All the excitement, all the hype, all the steam propelling Pac's career to super-stardom has disappeared since the letdown of "The Event". The PPV numbers for a fight against a guy basically unknown outside of hardline boxing fans were surprisingly good. Why? Because Manny Pacquio fights aren't like other boxers at the top like Mayweather and the Klitschkos, Manny only faces tough guys for all-out battles. Manny Pacquio fights are fights where you get your money's worth. They certainly were, until the Clottey fight. How could they have known Clottey wasn't going to fight? Well, they wouldn't have had to worry about that, had they had taken the more competitive, better paying, and most importantly more meaningful fight.
