If Floyd beats Mosley, is it better than Pacquiao's win over Cotto?

Cotto was damaged goods and the fight wasn't even at the WW limit. He was coming off a brutal loss and many said his career was finished. Mosley is coming off two brutal KO's wins, at 154 and against the #1 at 147. Clearly, without any doubt, Mayweather's victory over Mosley would be far superior to anything Pacquiao has accomplished. People mention Pacquaio vs Barrera. Well, Barrera was knocked out by Junior Jones in just 5 rounds and lost the immediate rematch as well. He only lost to Pacquiao after his war with Morales. That means Pacquiao's greatest accomplishment in his career was one-upped by a B level boxer against a superior version of the common opponent. floyds greatest accomplishment was getting a gift decision over castillo who was knocked out not once but twice by javier jauriegi. or was it corrales who clottey dominated then pac dominated him. and don't give me that it was a different weight nonsense floyd is the master at fighting guys not in their proper weight classes and pretending it proved something.

YES, because Cotto wasn't the same against Pacquiao, had a shit trainer, very suspect preparation and a bad game plan. Plus he looked bad against limited Clottey. Cotto when he fought Mosley was at his peak, had a great trainer, a great preparation and was very smart. He used to demolish people. Mosley just killed Margarito and works with a great trainer/strategist in Nazim Richardson. Still Pacquiao's win over Cotto is in my book better than any of Mayweather's wins before the Mosley fight. Better than the Hatton win or the fight against Fishnet Boy.

I give them comparable credit. Mosley has been in decline for a few years and his career/rankings were only revitalized due to Marg win and this fight should have happened years ago. Cotto, although a catchweight, was Pac's first true test @ WW. Battle worn or not, there was alot more uncertanty with Pac taking on Cotto than Shane's "puncher's chance" No matter what though, we all have to see him win before he gets credit.

The Cotto win is stained with: 1). Not a WW fight, asking Cotto to fight at 142 was a rather pansy thing to do... 2). Margarito has stolen Cotto's mojo with his magic(cough cough)hand wraps. If Floyd beats Shane than his win is stained with: 1). Mosley is old as dirt... 2). Mosley is seriously old. In all honesty I think that the Mosley Floyd's fighting is better than the Cotto Pacquaio's fought but what does it matter? according to who? not the ring and i dont think anyone actually believes mosley is a better fighter than pac right now. just take a look at the odds for one. may is -450 against mosley and even money against pac. most people felt mosley was done years ago and then he fights a guy who stands right in front of him and lets him unload free power shots and he's back? hardly. ok,dude who should floyd have fought that is deemed just as big of a threat as shane??? by the way they have to also be ranked 1 or 2 in his division and a top 10 p4p and don't name pac since that fight was called off

Yes I think so. Mosley is coming off a big win while Cotto was coming off a very close win against Clottey and his body and face recieved a real beating. So yes Mayweather beating Mosley will be quite the accolade for Mayweather.

Pac's win over cotto is better than the floyd's win over mosley, for a simple fact that cotto beat mosley, mosley's win over margarito is overrated who is just a punching bag and no defense margarito and mosley is almost 40 years old.
