He conveniently snuck out of the CW division just as Adamek was looking dangerous, but now he has nowhere to run. It's either the Klitschkos or this Polish psycho. They all give him problems.
If Haye's next fight is not against either of these 3 guys, he'll have proven his bitchworthiness and won't ever get my support again.
Didn't Ruiz say that Haye was the fastest guy he'd fought?
Apart from the clear racism in this post what the hell would Haye's chin have to do with his ability to KO Adamek?
I don't imagine Haye could KO Adamek if Haye himself gets KO'd first...
When looking at the Valuev and Ruiz fights, the difference in overall mobility and handspeed was profound. Whilst he didn't throw much against Valuev, at all times he looked very sharp and unhindered at 217. Fast-forward to Ruiz, and if one looks beyond the first-round action, he's suddenly looking almost laboured and sluggish at the newfound 222. Just too bulky. I think he'd be better off staying at 215-ish and combining better mobility with the natural power which will always be there.
As Adamek showed last night, there's no shame in being a smaller HW.
Interesting how it's the exact same for Adamek and Haye.
At 217 Tomasz looked much more fluid and faster than at 222 vs Estrada. That seems to be their cap, 215/216ish is the ideal weight for both i imagine.
Either you're blind or have a short memory.
Neither. Speak for yourself.
Watch the fight again and then write.
Already done so 4 times, and that's more than enough for me. Horrendously boring and tentative fight, obviously exacerbated by the size mismatch. It was never going to be an action-packed fight no matter what was said beforehand.
And just in case anyone bothers to mention Barrett - yes, he brought a fight to Valuev back in the day but he had absolutely nothing to lose. Nothing whatsoever. Haye needed to be careful, had to nurse the dodgy hand and not get caught by the big man. Simple and effective gameplan.
In most rounds Haye didn't do squat to Valuyew
Haye threw a low number of punches, but at least he connected with something - gloves, elbows, body, anything. Valuev didn't land shit. All he did was come forward jabbing, but barely anything was touching.
He clearly won by points.
How in the blue hell can a guy clearly win by points when he hardly connects with anything? Effective aggression can only be counted if you're landing something on the way in. Haye was running, but at least he got his shots in as he ran. Not many, but they're the ones that counted.
And no, Jim Watt's scorecard should never be held as gospel. He's a sweaty sock jock piece of shit and nobody with a brain pays any attention to what he says.
I think that's part of the problem, as David packs on the pounds, his handspeed (along with power his greatest assets) slows.

Adamek would be the toughest HW opponent yet for Haye. Quite a difference compared to the old, over-the-hill bums Haye has fought so far. Adamek is young, can punch, has a chin.
I doubt the fight gets made. Haye will stick with old have-beens like Ruiz and Valuev.
No need to make the HW distinction IMO. Toughest opponent period.
I bet Haye fights Arreola now.
I would like to see it could be a great fight but i would still rather see Haye vs Wlad as it would be a bigger fight even though Haye would probably ge KO'd

I hate posts like this if you look at the facts rather than just coming out with some crap it would be nice. Haye had allready said he was moving up to heavyweight before his fight with Mormeck back in 2007 before just after Adamek had lost to Dawson he then stayed one extra fight to fight Enzo then moved up so no duck there mate.
I like Adamek by the way it would be a great fight Haye vs Adamek.
Didn't Ruiz say that Haye was the fastest guy he'd fought?
The current HW version of Haye doesn't look very fast compare to guys like Chambers, Boytsov, or even Adamek. He's starting to look a bit musclebound and awkward in there TBH.

I think Haye stops him in the mid rounds, and I'd love to see the fight, but I wouldn't be shocked if it went the other way.

I would really like to see Haye vs. Adamek fight. And I think that I'm in majority here regardless of whether you're Haye's fan that thinks he would easily win or Adamek's that think Adamek would easily win against that black (that could only run from Valuyew and won only thanks to the judges because the giant dominated clearly in most rounds and only in the last one Haye has shown some good punches). If Arreola couldn't KO Adamek, glass-jaw Haye won't either. Seriously, I was sure that Arreola would knock Adamek out but it turned out his endurance is completely off the charts.

Adamek wouldve gotten KOd if Cunningham had more power. Adamek has a speed advantage over every heavyweight except for Haye and hes a decent boxer but Haye would be too explosive for him I think
Haye punches as fast as a middleweight (well usually, not so much in the Ruiz fight) and he can slip shots on the inside where Adamek would likely be

Valuev didn't dominate shit. All his aggression was ineffective, whilst Haye's punches consistently landed somewhere - however minimal they were in terms of volume.
One clean punch landed per round > plodding forward and landing nothing
Huh? Either you're blind or have a short memory. Watch the fight again and then write.
In most rounds Haye didn't do squat to Valuyew while Valuyew was connecting all the time with his straights (but because of Haye back-stepping it didn't do much damage). He clearly won by points.

are you for real? adamek hadn't scored one win worth a shit by the time haye had beaten enzo and made his intentions clear about moving to heavyweight.
