nope. he needs to hire steward. get 1-2 tune ups. then fight for a belt. don't get me wrong, I think that gettin a new trainer needs to be #1 on his to do list. If he doesn't get the right trainer, he is gonna have a very long tail end of his career. But once he gets the right cornerman, and cutman, he needs to fight for a belt, and I think at this point he can suck it up and go over to fight in Germany. Hell, I would even watch him fight Sylvester, he just needs to get a belt to regain some confidence. Then he needs to take on Martinez again and fight Paul Williams.

I actually thought of Sturm-Martinez as a bigger money maker than PWill or Pavlik. That wouldn't be a bad fight at all. You too? Jeez, I was beginning to think I was the only one around here who thought that way. However crap Sturm is, he has a title and big name value - a perfect opportunity for Pavlik to bounce straight back. Martinez, Pavlik and Williams would all beat Sturm soundly.

It would be a great time for Pavlik, but Sturm gets paid alot to defend if WBA strap in Germany against fighters most ppl haven't heard. I doubt he cares about a boxing legacy and you need to take risks to have a good one so I doubt it ever happens. did you not read the articles i linked? sturm is done with universum....unless they win their court case. he wants to fight in the US. he does not care about his belt or defending it, which is why he's not complaining that he was "elevated" to super champion. if he just wanted to continue to be protected by universum in germany, he wouldnt have fought for his free agency.
