Does one style add more problems for BHOP to handle over the other? Or is one fighter a bit better in your opinion. Well, usually it comes down to styles not who the better fighter could be or might be.
Dawson, obviously. But the catchweight of 170 with Bute might be getting a little harder for Hopkins to make. Either would be a damn sight more competitive and entertaining than the mess we saw last weekend.
Dawson has a fight in August so a potential fight with Hopkins likely wouldn't be till the very end of 2010 or early 2011.
On top of that Bute would give hopkins more money and bute will be available to negotiate with after next week.
Fucking Hopkins nutthugger answer the damn question :lol1:
The question is who is the tougher opponent not who will get Hopkins more money/who can he fight first.

dawson is the tougher opponent, but hopkins is 45 years old.
hopkins is at 175.
why the hell is a 168 fighter in discussion.
go fight dawson or retire borenard.
Exactly its embarrassing that he is calling out Bute !!!
I don't get the connection with you just wrote and what I said.
I'm starting to think that you're a bit of a tard, don't read posts entirely or just can't comprehend what's written properly. Which is it?
You don't get the connection because you are what you are saying I am...
Thats what I think about you, and you have alot of time on your hand when you can make those montages for BHOP. Oh, I noticed BHOP didn't say he took Calzaghes soul. Thats one soul he couldn't take even with his headbutts and excessive clinching.
Pavlik moved up 10 more pounds to fight at 170. Bute would only being moving up 2 pounds. If anything it would probably take a bit more out of BHOP moving down in weight 5 pounds then it is to Bute moving up 2 pounds. I doubt Bute even has any speed-changes with 2 pounds he could be the same speed or faster depending how it affects him. I hardly doubt it would hurt him though.
7 pounds not 2 pounds.(168-175) and thats just the weightclasses - if theres no catchweight
Bute is a big SMW, he could easily fight at 175, but I dunno about his chin.
Bad chad is just too young and hungry, but maybe the veterane have some tricks. Bhop is just crazy ahhaha
I'd go with Dawson but I can't say I've seen enough Bute...Bute reminds me of Calzaghe in a way...Dawson kinda fades late in fights...
Chad has beaten more names...
Without the slappage and bad hands... Lots more power too. Well, as far as I know Butes hands are fine and he throws punches crisp and clean as if he doesn't have any hand problems. I mean I know its popular for fighters to get some form of hand injuries during fights but Calzaghes hands are completely mangled up.
I mean in earlier fights he threw crisper uppecuts and all types of other punches. In his later fights he throws his hands kind of in a spazing way but thats mainly because of his broken hands atleast I think...

dont forget Bute have to move up like Pavlik did. Bad Chad not..

Hopkins struggles with southpaw, Bute fights in a very similar way to Joe calzaghe and dawson is dawson. I really cant call it to be honest.
Bhop actually has a pretty good record against southpaws if I remember correctly, I think he struggles more with speed.
We could've kept this convo in the other thread but oh well.
Dawson is the bigger threat as already mentioned but if everybody all of a suddent just went after the more dangerous opponent , it would be a perfect world.
Jeff Lacy and Mikkel Kessler both were consider threats at 168 before Calzaghe fought them. Why doesn't Bhop fight Dawson? You can say Lacy was a bit hyped up, but he was favored to win and people thought he was going to bull-doze Calzaghe. So, by all means Calzaghe stepped up to the plate and fought an opponent lots said Calzaghe avoided and faked injuries to.
