Probably. Haye is always in danger of getting knocked down. I think that was a pure balance issue as it usually is with Haye.

Why Yes. Yes he should. As should Ali V Foreman. Ali was knocked down hundreds of times in that fight. Foreman used what I like to call the old 'rope-a-dope' on Ali by knocking him down on the ropes for almost the entire fight. What an astute thread!

The ropes probably did keep him up. However most referees dismiss it as a slip when this happens especially when the fighter isn't hurt at all.

I think if a boxer is knocked over from a punch and is held up by the ropes then its supposed to be counted as a knockdown. i thought so!
