The Direll fight was your third consecutive fight you’d taken to the twelfth round. How much does that take out of your career?
Carl Froch: It’s good for your fitness. It only takes it out of your career if you’re getting banjoed with big shots on the chin and you’re wobbled, cut or get your nose broken. Against Jermain Taylor I got put down in round three, then I boxed my way steadily to the stoppage so it was a good work-out for me.
Jean Pascal was the hardest fight out of the three; he’s a tough bloke, a real hard warrior. That was the kind of fight where you have to dig into your reserves, take a few on the chin and come out the other end stronger for it. The Direll fight was an easy night’s work to be honest. I went running the next day to get rid of some energy, because it was just too easy.
Don't worry pacal gonna make you eat those words of the floor.
Sure thing, guy. Adamek couldn't do it, Tarver couldn't, and Johnson couldn't do it over 24 round's. But if dreams of Pascal beating Dawson makes you sleep better at night, have at it.
Is Jean Pascal "THAT" big of a puncher? Taylor knocked Froch down and Dirrell had him hurt....Yet I don't think Pascal had Froch in trouble at all even though he was landing many blows.
I don't believe Dirrell or Taylor had Froch hurt. They buzz him but not hurt.I did not feel Froch was going to be Stopped in either fight.

I think the point froch is making is that Pascal came forward to fight for 12 rounds, never took a backward step.

People need to rememeber that most boxing commentators, analysts, and judges only had Froch a couple of points down against Taylor going into the final round. Carl took some big shots and was knocked down but it wasn't as if he was being beaten up in there. Plus he knocked him out in the end anyway.
Froch also had a close fight against Dirrell, where he didn't take a lot of punches, he gave as good as he got, and came away with the victory.
However, against Pascal, Froch was taking a lot of punishment. Pascal landed more punches on Froch than both Dirrell and Taylor combined. It's easy to see that Pascal's overall boxing skills are underrated. He is a very good boxer.
Thats odd.. Since he lost to Dirrell, and was losing on cards to Taylor.
Fukk I hope Dirrell meets up with Froch in the semi's.
If Dirrell meet's back with Froch he will try to stand his ground a lil more and get stopped.

This asshole is way too full of himself, in my opinion he is about the fourth best of the six in the tournament, I dont think he will make the finals.

It's become obvious Froch is anti-American.
Yo my boy pascal man would ****ing murder direll and taylor after watching the videos I'm pretty sure of that. He's super underrated as a fighter and I do believe he belong somewhere on the top of his weight division.
I find dirrell is overrated because he's an american fighter, he definetly has speed and some power but his style is pretty attrocious. It's like a really dumbed down version of mayweather with just a bit more speed. Also he hugs like a fagget that has no place in boxing.
Thats odd.. Since he lost to Dirrell, and was losing on cards to Taylor.

Froch beats Dirrell again if they fight. He's damaged goods.
Froch got a gift decision in his hometown. If he didn't get the decision they probably would have started rioting and started behaving like hooligans, tipping over garbage bins and marching down the street singing.
yer Pascal is a warrior
I think Pascal will put serious hurt on Chad Dawson.
I think that'll be a decent fight. All these idiots talking shit about Froch and how unskilled he is, that if you go by their standards Dawson shouldn't get any credit if he beats Pascal.
This is certainly true.
Pascal stood toe to toe with Froch in a war.
He also outboxed Diaconu in two MASSIVELY underrated fights/wars. They were exceptional.
I mean the guy's shoulder was dislocated 3 times or so during the rematch and he kept fighting! What a warrior.
