Why was Green at the fight last night?

Yeah, I guess you're right. What the hell was Green saying about having the Super 6 without him was like having a mob movie without DeNiro? Lol, I don't know, but that's funny as hell. Green seems ignorant, but he also seems intelligent, like he has a good head on his shoulders when he wants to use it. He's a very good talker.

Lol, professional fighters aren't supposed to think they are going to lose. Tarver is on contract to announce with Showtime I think. He's decent at it. I honestly expected better because he's an intelligent, articulate and funny dude. Yeah, I guess you're right. showtime had a free preview going on this last weekend. thats exactly what they were doing. Yeah I know, but the amount that they did it was a bit over the top.

showtime needs to get as much publicity on green as possible, that's why green was there. they want people to know that taylor is out and green is in. possibly because he has a life unlike you

Is he really that hopeless against Ward? Eh, he's very lackluster a lot of the time. He is a HUGE puncher, but has no killer instinct. The high points of his career were beating undefeated Jaidon Codrington with a first round KO, and beating undefeated Tarvis Simms (or Travis, can't remember which one) at light heavyweight. Simms was a late replacement, and the fight was one of the most boring in recent memory I've heard. Green won wide on all scorecards. He lost to Edison Miranda badly. He got dominated, dropped twice, and almost got KO'd in the 10th. He did get like 80% of his colon removed after that, so he actually might have been feeling sick as hell that night. One more thing. He has this ****ing obnoxious habit of looking at this damn feet all the time. Every time he resets, he looks at his feet. It's among the most annoying things in the sport.

I don't think the Ward fight is until June. He's enough time left to get focused and in shape . . . Of course it won't matter though, because he's going to lose. I've never seen Green fight. Is he really that hopeless against Ward?

He, Ward, and Jim Gray had a little interview about their upcoming fight before Dirrell-Abraham. It was funny though, Gray asked him if he thought Ward could've continued with the injury. Green basically replied, "I know I said somethings in the papers, but at the end of the day, I'm not the one with the injury...." I thought that was funny too. Green is a ****ing asshole about people to the press, but apparently cools off when the other person is around.

Maybe he just wanted to watch a good fight... Ward was there too!! Ward has Dirrell after Green. I mean, that may be looking past one opponent, but... at least it's not the possibility of fighting a one of those two guys two fights down the line. Yeah especially when his chances of making it into the quarters are slim as hell. I know he does some announcing some times, but they just had Tarver last night didn't they? I find it strange that he would be storing away knowledge on these guys when he has to fight Ward first, and then Kessler. You are not supposed to look past any of your opponents, and he is already looking at guys that he wouldn't fight for over a year from now.
