Then what?
His career is over in the States at least. I would at least say I would expect to hear the results that he suffered a concussion. I think he is done for 6 months.
When he was flat on his back he was shaking a bit. My friend who is a medic noticed it and said "WOW...do you see that." He knew he was ****ed.

If Dirrell had gotten bleeding of the brain from that punch it would have meant that his brain was in his chin, wasnt nearly full power and the flopping around on the mat was obviously acting. Watch the damn tape.

What if Floyd wasn't such a bitch? What if Paulie wasn't gay? What's the point in asking silly questions? Andre was faking.

:haha:
you think that was a typo? search "thematrix"
and if you were'nt a retard you'd know that most people that get ko'd dont stay in the hospital 24 hours, most dont get brain bleeding and most that get ko'd aren't ko'd for hours like your dumbass believes, most will be up and talkin and walkin, he got hit by a punch, not a fukkin car you moronic twat
and why are you reviving this thread you little retard?

:haha:
maybe i rewatched the fight?
say wussup to your brother andre for me. i think he can beat ward. unless your bro dre wants to win another oscar, ward probably can't hurt him since he ate huge shots from arthur earlier in that fight, and was fine.
If you are insinuating that Froch beat Dirrell, then you are a fukcing dumbass.
That was the clearest draw I've ever seen. No one deserved to win that fight.
The clearest DRAW???
Ahahahahahahahaha.
I wonder how a draw can be clear.
The only one saying he had a concussion is his promoter Gary Shaw.
But doctors did tests to rule out a concussion, according to this:

No bleeding on the brain, no positive tests for a concussion, out of the hospital in three hours, on camera doing an interview for Fight Camp 360 walking out of the hospital.

very possible and that was the same thing a buddy and I were discussing. Dirrell's career could be over. I wonder how that will affect the overall tone of the tournament also.
if you are insinuating that he beat froch then you sir are a ****ing idiot..

It's a concern.
I once had an accident where I landed head first on concrete and got a concussion. I'm not sure how long I was out, or even if I was at all (I was alone at the time) but I remember that I didn't suffer any confusion, although I struggled to stand up for a while and threw up.
So the fact that AD behaved like that after the fight is worrying and makes me think it might be worse than a regular concussion. Hopefully he'll be fine, I feel really bad for the guy as he's now had 2 fights in a row ruined for him when it should've been his time to celebrate.

For being in a fight? Tell Dirrell to stop slipping on the canvas so much.
What part of defend yourself at all times don't you get?
I hope Dirrell is not hurt, but I can't really blame AA for having an adrenaline rush, with blood in his eye, desperate for a KO.
You low blow a guy and headbutt a guy enough times and karma can be a bitch.
You kick AA out and the tourny goes to shit.
AA shouldn't complain like he does after low blows BUT after the first legit punch to his nuts the ref just said keep fighting, AA kind of turned then the ref paused the action for about 15 seconds untill AA said he was ok. After that the ref didn't do anything when dirrell hit AA in the balls. I think AA looking at the ref was more a case of him being in disbelief that the ref wasn't doing anything.
AA shouldn't have complained like he did but no one is mentioning how Dirrel tryed to take AA's head off after a low blow when AA had turned his back, fortunately for AA he ducked the punch at the last second though.
Dirrell falling down in clinches to get a break and bending low like he did vs Froch then complaining when he gets hit in the back of his head isn't wise. He's putting himself in compromising positions and hoping that the ref and opponent will stop the action.
Dirrell was exhibiting post traumatic amnesia. One of the classic signs of a concussion.
didn't do much looking and not from a .org type site but still...
"The main concern after any blow to baby's head is injury to the underlying brain, which occurs in two forms: bleeding and concussion. When small blood vessels have been broken between the skull and the brain or within the brain, bleeding occurs within this space and compresses the brain. A blow to the head may also cause a concussion, meaning the brain has been "shaken up" by the fall. Pressure on the brain from bleeding or from the swelling associated with the concussion produces the outward signs of a brain injury. "
