I'm about to basically paste my reply from the other racist floyd thread and add a little, cause its relevant and I dont wanna bother rewording it: Floyd isn't racist. White people in america are insecure about ethnic pride, because they associate white pride with being racist. It's just one of those odd things that actually runs a lot deeper than color. "Black pride" and any racial pride really is rooted in ethnic minorities in just about any country having to stand up and be vocal in order to get fair treatment from the ethnic majority. Everyone wants to be the underdog though. Think about it: If you lived in Japan/Nigeria/The North Pole and people made fun of you for being white/half white, you would want to stand up and show off you're proud of who you are, too. There's really no need for white people in America to "stand up" so to speak, so I think that a lot of white people in America grow up misunderstanding the whole situation.
