If Margarito had "Plaster" on his hands against Cotto, he would of been dead.

How could a man be alive to tell the story after supposedly getting pummeled from head to body for almost 12 rounds and be alive and well right now? Let's face the facts, this fight happened in summer of 08, that's almost two years ago and despite Cotto's loss against Pacquiao he has gone to win 2 out of 3 fights. Sure I will agree that Cotto hasn't been the same fighter ever since, but who could be after such a war those two men had? Let's not forget that even though Jennings was a walk in the park for Cotto, he immediately fought Clottey who at the time was considered a top 5 welter and a risk for Cotto despite Clottey's lack of output etc. However he squeaked a win with a horrible cut on his eye and did enough to win the fight due to Clottey's lack of killer instincts and stupidity. After that he went after arguably the pound for pound king and was blown out of the water and who could blame him? Pac proved he had the speed and power and the endurance to withstand anything Cotto brought, and up to that point everyone said Cotto was the most dangerous fighter Pac could go against. So why do you people keep thinking Margarito ruined Cotto because of loaded gloves? if that was the case Cotto would be physically scarred, yet he's gone with his career and fought some good names and as of yet still on track to fight Foreman. No slurred speech, no lost of vision, nothing that can resemble the amount of collateral damage a guy like Billy Collins had after getting pummeled with plaster by Luis Resto.
