Steward to train Cotto!!!!!!

Didn't Steward mention on a HBO telecast that he would love to train Cotto. I swear he said something like that and said that he just needed to fix a couple things.

Hopefully Cotto will get his head back in the game. A great fighter who potentially got robbed by cheaters. Are you indirectly calling Pacquiao a cheater??!? jkkkk

I highly doubt Steward would train Cotto. There are plenty of good trainers who would be willing to train Miguel though. As long as he picks one of them this time, things should be alright and he should KO Foreman.

he trains taller fighters to fight like robots against smaller fighters. thats about the extent of his training skills. pretty easy to teach a fighter to jab-jab-jab-jab-jab-right cross-jab-jab-jab-jab-jab-right cross <--- rinse repeat where was Steward's training when Lewis fought Vitali? where was Steward's training in Taylor-Pavlik 1? where was steward's training in the Naseem-Barrera fight? I've said this before and I'll say it again, if a fighter doesn't have great natural talent, then Steward is the trainer to have... if a fighter has great natural skills and abilities, Steward is definitely not the trainer to have. Steward is only advising Foreman for3 wks on how to up his punching power. Steward aint actually training foreman with no game plans or sparring or nothing like that. just on how to throw power punches. Steward has wanted to train Cotto for the longest now & he is always quick to point out Cotto's flaws when he calls cotto's fight so he know exactly what our Champ needs to improve on.

The article doesn't say Steward is going to train him. It says Steward is in the running, but Steward made an agreement to train Foreman for the fight.
