I just keep reading how Tua has a good chance against the Klitschkos, WTF? Tua is old, hasn't fought anyone decent in forever and was schooled by Byrd, so can someone explain?

Tua has no chance against the Klitschkos. Anyone who says otherwise is living in the past.
No way. Most don't give him enough respect tbh. Tua is a relic of the previous HW era, but a good one. Both Klits dominate him. But give him a shot at Haye and Haye dies a violent death.
Yeah I think Tua has a good shot at Haye, but I don't think it's a foregone conclusion that Tua would win. But I have seen quite some people saying "Tua would crack Wlad's glass chin" and "Wlad should give a shot to Tua, he's afraid of him" and the like, when Tua has not beaten anyone good in quite some time.
I'll admit that Vitali-Tua would be much better than Vitali-Sosnowski, though :D

Let's set the record straight, I wrote: "Several? Dimitrenko, who else? Peters? lol."
I was pretty sure about Dimitrenko being top10, but Peter. And I def. wasn't sure about it being several. And I still doubt it is. If it didn't come across that way, that's too bad. English is not my first language and I write far from perfect.
Ok, fair enough man, maybe something was lost in translation, I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. I know Peter and Dimitrenko were top 10 for sure, Brock I don't know for sure because I was not following boxing yet at the time, but I think it's a reasonable assumption, since Brock had faced Wlad a short time ago, and Brock was top 10 when he fought Wlad, I doubt a loss against Wlad made him fall out of the top 10, and he had two wins since that loss when he fought Chambers. Maybe someone who was around at the time can clear this up?
The way you wrote the post clearly indicated that you didn't believe Peter was top 10, you wrote "Dimitrenko was top, who else? Peter? Lol", you can try to spin it any way you want, I'll let anyone who reads it get their own conclusions.

I doubt that.
Yes, I was. I wasn't sure about Sam Peters ranking a year ago and couldn't think of any other fighter Chambers had beaten that was ranked top10 at the time.

Calvin Brock was top 10 IIRC.
Yeah, sure you were :lol1:

Let's look at the definition of several:

Who is the third one?
Calvin Brock was top 10 IIRC.
Not once did I say he wasn't ranked top10 at the time. The phrase "Chambers had beaten several top 10 HWs" sounds like he had beaten more then two mid-low top10s and lost to one mid top10 to me. That's what I was laughing about.
Oh, I'm sorry for not sticking to the topic 100%. That's the first that ever happened on this board and I deeply regret it!

When I said Chambers has defeated several competition:
You laughed at Peter's name, Peter was ranked in the top 10 by every reputable ranking, but you think you know better than them.
Then you try to divert the point comparing Chambers and Tua, saying Chambers is overrated, which is not what I was refering to (though it again shows your rankings are better than the reputable sources' rankings), with this post.

Hell I think even Ruiz would win too
Tua knocked out Ruiz in the first round of a fight over ten years ago. Things might be different now, but I think Tua has proven himself over Ruiz.
I like the thread title any chance to have a dig at haye hey, anyway Tua hasnt done anything in years but still has massive power.
It's not a dig, it's reality, Haye is overhyped right now.
Id like to see Arreola-Wlad for the hell of it.
Yeah, at least Arreola tried to win for the 10 rounds against Vitali although he was eating a lot of leather, most Klitschko opponents give up around the 6th round after getting hit repeteadly by their jabs. Arreola has pretty good heart.
Hell yea man. The only notable titles he ever held were...
~ WBC International heavyweight title ~
~ WBO Asia Pacific heavyweight title ~
~ WBO Oriental heavyweight title ~
But c'mon guys like these guys would def beat him:
Chris Arreola
Tomasz Adamek
Samuel Peter
Ruslan Chagaev
Hell I think even Ruiz would win too
I don't know about Ruiz, and Peter-Tua would be a good fight I think, but the rest yeah, I think they would beat Tua. IMO the next ideal contender for Wlad (if both Haye and Povetkin dodge the fight again) is the winner of Arreola-Adamek.
Tua is pretty overrated. Still, I'd like to see him fight a Klitschko after Haye gets a chance. I don't think he has a chance, but hell, nobody does recently. Might as well give him the title shot since people love him.
most definately. whats the best belt he ever held? He never held nothing worth mentioning. Just because he has a big punch everyone thinks he should get a title shot AGAIN? ..... the K2 bros would emberass Tua man. He's out of prime and not what he use to be
Not only the Klitschkos, IMO Chambers would school Tua, Byrd style.
When I said Chambers has defeated several competition:
Several? Dimitrenko, who else? Peters? lol.
Chambers was ranked 4th when he fought Wlad, Tua is nowhere to be seen in the rankings. So, I think Chambers is overrated(Arreola even more so), and Tua abit underrated. Chambers would never, ever, be able to beat either Klit while Tua definately could KO Wlad.
You laughed at Peter's name, Peter was ranked in the top 10 by every reputable ranking, but you think you know better than them.

Wow, you actually didn't understand my post? I never said that Tua was better then Chambers or that he would beat him, what I said was that imo Tua is better then his rating (=underrated) while Chambers are worse then his rating (=overrated). IN MY OPINION, I might add, which is the ONLY thing we can discuss in this thread.
HOW ON EARTH did you manage to interpret that as saying my rating means more then The Rings's? Jesus Christ...
Nice try though :lol1:
tua would leave haye, peter or arreola in a bodybag. he may be a little overrated but he has a chance to hurt a klitschko if he can get inside as where not many other heavyweights do. he looked crisp and fast in his last fight especially considering a 2 year layoff, and even though he's older tua is always a threat to any opponent he faces on ko power alone
