I hear this alot "he has improved so much since the Sanders fight"
No he hasn't, he just fought a bunch of losers that were never that good in the first place. The way most Klitschko supporters seem to evade the fact that he's been knocked out on three seperate occasions by Ross Puritty, Corrie Sanders, and Lamon Brewster is to simply say that he has gotten alot better and that it will never happen again. None of the fighters he's beaten since his last loss are that good: Calvin Brock (trash) Ray Austin (trash) Ibragimov in a technical mismatch, Tony Thompson (trash) Rahman in decline, and Chagaev in another mismatch. The way he fights is so boring that it makes me cringe, he never throws punches in combinations, he just jabs and then throws an occasional right hand. I hate watching him fight.
are the opposistion trash or is wlad just that good?
I wouldn't call his opposition trash. I'd say most of them being undefeated and/or never knocked out says a lot about Wlad's record.
No one can dispute the fact that Wlad beats people convincingly and never gets touched for 4 straight years now, after he learned how to deal with adversity.

Well if he's done nothing but fight trash, and you obviously can pick trash when you see it, why not strap on the gloves, fight your way up the ranks, get a fight with both of them and beat them, since it's apparently that easy...

Well some might say that Purrity, Sanders were no better than who he has been beating.
I Don't think the Klitschko brothers are exciting fighters. But they are definitely the two best heavyweights around right now. Their fights can be boring, but if that's the style that makes them world champions, then I'm not going to criticize them. Neither one is a disgrace.
Lets see........ He does all of the following........
1. Fights all his mandatories no matter if they are known or not. If they made it to #1, he gives them their shot.
2. He tries to make big fights (Haye, Valuev)
3. He never says "so and so doesnt bring enough money"
4. He sells out 50,000 plus seat arenas
5. He doesnt sit around waiting for tv dates
6. He completely dominates his opponents
Yeah, he's a disgrace all right....... not
No, I don't like the fact that he hasn't fought any really good fighters and when he fights Povetkin all the people that are on his nuts will have to shut up.
Alexander, why are you on here when you really should be training.

Dont watch him then. Simple.
Kind of like Pactards ignore that their man was destroyed twice as well?
Two of Wlad's KOs aren't even meaningful since he just absolutely ran out of gas vs. Purrity and Brewster. He avenged Brewster.
The Sanders KO was legit though.
Look at the Sanders KO again. You'll see that Sanders' head smashed into Klitschko's jaw, a split second after his fist, and that it was THIS which sent him down for the first, vital KD.
wlad has more than made up for his losses.... thats all you klit-haters do is bring up his losses... then you guys hype up a klit-opponent, saying he is going to knock out wlad, or vitali, then the klits win, and guess what after the klits win....... you say a fighter is trash, or a bum.........
You can't blame him for the way the division has been but I'm more of a Vitali fan
Horrible thread.
Wladimir continually knocks out the top challengers to his crown. I cannot understand this hate. He is a great champion and deserves respect.
exactly, and to add more, like what Grand Champ said he has a Ph.D in Sports Science, he can speak 4 languages (Ukrainian, Russian, German, English) and an Humantarian... he has donated tons of money to charities, he has helped people out in Africa....
yeah hes definitely a disgrace....
Yea, let's forget that he was knocked out 3 times by fighters that he should have easily beat.
Disgrace is going to far. It's true he hasn't fought any great fighters, but that's because the division is just shit but his opponents are still top 5-10 in the division. He dominates all his fights even if he isn't all that exciting to watch.
yeah i know but what if someone just ignored Oscar's losses against Trinidad, Mosley and Bhop and only mentioned his wins when comparing him to other fighters.
I know that Wlad is a great fighter but you can't just act like the 3 KO's never happened when comparing him to Ali, Foreman, Louis etc...
Most people thought Oscar beat Trinidad, won the second fight with Mosley and Hopkins was far too large an opponent to hold that loss against him.
No one is comparing him to those three, he's not even on Lewis' level yet. But hypothetical match ups can be done with any two fighters, and sometimes, styles make fights.
