As the super six tournament starts to loom again, i was wondering how you see the fight between Kessler and Froch going. Personally i think Kessler will win by KO or TKO. Lets, look at it objectively, Froch goes on as if he is Roy Jones and quite clearly he is not and never ever will be. I was looking back at his fight with Jermain Taylor and lets face it, it was a fluke, becuse if im right Jermain had the fight on points and outboxed him for 11 rounds, but just gased himself out. He is a brawler, and when Carl unloads his punches - that aren't particulary fast and accurate he always, always drops his guard and i think against a clever boxer he will come unstuck as he did with Jermaine and if he had done a little more in camp he would have won hands down. Now Kessler on the other hand is a very technical boxer, with speed and power and has only lost two fights to two extremley clever boxers in Ward and Calzaghe. But i think coming off that loss he will be the best he has been in a while, possibly the pre Calzaghe fight. I think Kessler will use his superior skills to pick him off when Froch continues to drop his hands when he throws his brawling shots. It may even be similar to the Mayweather v Hatton fight.
I see the fight going like this. The first round will be tentative with neither fighter wanting to commit. The second will see Froch get impatient and up the tempo, but in doing so Kessler will win the exchanges and worry Carl. The thrid and fourth rounds they will continue to exchange and again Kessler will come out on top, staggering Froch and then in either round five, six or seven i see Kessler landing a big right hand on Carl's chin and him either going out for the count or coming under a barrage of punches and forcing the referee to stop the fight. And i think that these

( kessler will land on Frochs chin at regualr intervals)
I think Kessler has more power than Froch and hes definitely a better boxer. I just dont see how Froch pulls it off, I think Froch makes it a brawl and Kessler dismantles him.
thats what happens when you constantly get outclassed and awarded gift decisions.
You feel invincible
Constantly? As far as I'm aware he only has one of those, and if Dirrell wasn't such a negative little b1tch who held Froch anytime Carl got close, he wouldn't have lost that decision.
Froch's mentality is insane... he believes he's the best pound for pound fighter, it seems lol

Froch can take havy pucnhes, he proved that when he fought Jean Pascal(now the wbc LH champ). I think kessler both guys will come forward and make it the most exciting fight of the super 6 so far. Im going with froch by UD

If Kessler is determined and in top form then i expect it'll look alot like the Andrade fight but not as dominant. I'll never count Froch out though he always has a shot but i favour Kessler.
I think Kessler is going to punish him based on the style matchup. You got a guy, Kessler, who's very good at throwing straight punch combinations vs a come forward guy with mediocre defense who will be there to get hit. On the other hand I think Kessler is a little soft and I'm not sure exactly how he'll be affected by the Ward loss while Froch is a mentally and physically strong guy and if he's able to weather the storm like he did in the Taylor fight, he could possibly start to catch and break Kessler down as the fight goes on.
Froch might hit the canvas at some point but I think he is tough enough to make through the final bell so my prediction is Kessler by wide decision.
Yep, Froch is a tough SOB. I'm looking forward to this fight, at least we know Kessler won't be negative like Dirrell.
Yeah, kessler lieks to coem forward, even in the ward fight, in the later rounds, kessler was stil coming forward trying to land shots. He is a true warrior. Froch has proved he can take pucnhes and land bombs. Will be a great night of boxing.

Kessler will walk to Froch and Carl will throw bombs, it'll become a war, Kessler is more refined with a better defence and more orthodox punches, he will become confident in the middle rounds and I'm not sure what happens from there, either Froch hits him with something momentous and gains his respect, turning the fight around, or Kessler continues to go forward landing straighter, cleaner punches. It's a real pick 'em fight

Kessler late TKO or UD IMO, he's too skilled for Froch.
I dont think Kessler will KO Froch, Frht Pascal who is a light heavy weight and didn't get hurt he just walked through his punches. Froch will walk through Kesslers punches and give him a knuckle sarny
seems like guys who throw straight give Froch fits and Kessler is about a straight a puncher as they come. Taylor controlled much of the fight with a jab right hand and actually had Froch down for the first time in his career. Save for the fatigue that was IMO the blueprint on how you nullify Froch
Kessler will throw 1-2s all night and somewhere down the line Froch will get desperate a bit and lunge getting caught with a right hand
Kessler TKO late
I'm hoping it's a brawl. I think Kessler will win by decision, but hoping Froch KO's him.
Why you evil bastard!? Kessler is a nice guy. He does not deserve to be knocked out. Froch on the other hand could use the humiliation.
I see Kessler doing very well, landing jabs and counter rights almost at will with Froch as usual never stopping coming forward. Kessler will dominate early and be winning the majority of the rounds, with Froch coming on late. Kessler holds on and wins a clear but close UD.
Either Kesslers speed will win it for him (wont say Kessler is the fastest one out there, but he is still A LOT faster than Froch) or Frochs determintation and stamina will win it for him.
i wont predict what will happen because i wont know until it actually happens.
hoping for a good fight! :D
Jermain Taylor was on his way to a split decision victory before he got KTFO.
Froch has beaten Pascal convincingly and edged out Dirrell.
Kessler in the last few years has beaten a bum and got dominated by a steroid junkie.
Huh? Calzaghe was no steroid junkie!
